Former president Donald Trump is set to speak at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania on Friday afternoon.
The Johnstown rally marks the latest of several campaign events Trump has hosted this week through the so-called "blue wall" states, including stops in Michigan and Wisconsin on Thursday. It also comes amid intense scrutiny from the press over a campaign stunt that backfired at Arlington National Cemetery and seemingly off-the-cuff policy announcements on abortion and in-vitro fertilization.
Vice President Kamala Harris has similarly held events in battleground states, including a rally in Georgia earlier this week, and sat for an interview with CNN's Dana Bash that aired Thursday.
Western Pennsylvania was the site of an assassination attempt at Trump's Butler rally that killed a rally-goer and injured multiple others. Trump walked away from that incident with an ear wound.
