President Donald Trump unleashed an angry tirade Thursday against longtime Republican strategist and Fox News regular Karl Rove, accusing him of undermining Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s Senate campaign.
“Sadly, and very stupidly, John Cornyn, and his Liddle’ Buddy, Super RINO, Karl Rove, are doing everything possible to make it hard for Ken Paxton,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
The president praised Paxton as “the Greatest Attorney General in the History of Texas” while attacking his Democratic opponent, James Talarico, as a “Radical Left Lunatic,” and “James TalaFREAKO.”
Trump then singled out Rove, accusing him of sabotaging Paxton’s chances.
“Karl Rove, who shouldn’t be allowed to spew his jealousy on FoxNews, should be ashamed,” Trump declared.
The president warned that Paxton’s defeat would be blamed on “WEAK and INEFFECTIVE Political Hacks like John Cornyn and Karl Rove, who have ineffectively opposed me for my entire political career.”
Trump went on to boast that he is the “ALL TIME WINNER in the History of Texas,” before urging Cornyn’s supporters to throw their support behind Paxton.
“We cannot take a chance on having a FREAKO, sometimes referred to as James TalaFREAKO, as our man in Washington, D.C.,” Trump concluded.
