'Made up fiction!' Trump totally denies policy that was central to his last administration
Donald Trump took a unique position on his TruthSocial account Thursday, denying that he'd ever wanted to get rid of ObamaCare — seven years after he tried to repeal the Affordable Care Act with a vote.
"Lyin’ Kamala is giving a News Conference now, saying that I want to end the Affordable Care Act. I never mentioned doing that, never even thought about such a thing," Trump posted on his site.
He added, "Everything that comes out of her mouth is a LIE. It’s MADE UP FICTION,"
During a 2016 rally in Sanford, Florida, Trump told the crowd that putting "America first" meant "repealing and replacing the disaster known as ObamaCare."

With a man dressed as a doctor over his left shoulder, Trump said he knew that ObamaCare was going to be a disaster from day one.
"My first day in office, I'm going to ask Congress to put a bill on my desk getting rid of this disastrous law and replacing it with reforms that expand choice, freedoms, affordability. You're going to have such great healthcare at a tiny fraction of the cost," Trump promised.
The repeal of ObamaCare failed in the U.S. Senate when the late U.S. Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) returned to Congress a week after being diagnosed with brain cancer.
Trump posted on then-Twitter: “3 Republicans and 48 Democrats let the American people down. As I said from the beginning, let ObamaCare implode, then deal. Watch!”
