President Donald Trump offered his "warmest condolences" to the victims of a Las Vegas massacre and their families.
A gunman opened fire on a country music festival late Sunday night on the Strip, killing at least 50 people and wounding more than 400 others.
The president issued a comment early Monday on Twitter.
The shooter, identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, was shot and killed by police in his hotel room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Casino.
His companion, 62-year-old Marilou Danner, was taken into custody as a person of interest.
