Trump claims Harris has been 'informed, legally' that she can't link him to​ Project 2025

Donald Trump claimed that his opponent Vice President Kamala Harris has been "informed, legally" that he had nothing to do with the politically poisonous Project 2025 agenda.

Nearly all voters are familiar with the right-wing blueprint for a potential Republican presidency that's being drawn up by former Trump administration officials and allies, and nearly 60 percent of registered voters feel negatively about the plan, and Trump has tried to distance himself from the policy proposals.

"Lyin’ Kamal Harris, who refuses to do interviews or press conferences because she has no idea how to answer the questions, and is now losing in the polls, continues to make a thing called Project 2025 the central theme of her campaign, advertising and all," Trump posted on Truth Social. "Lyin’ Kamala has been informed, legally, that I have, and had, nothing to do with it, NEVER READ IT, NEVER SAW IT, but her ads continue, full blast."

The former president seemed to imply that his attorneys had issued a cease-and-desist letter on the topic, but there's no publicly available evidence that's true.

"When you see them talking about Project 2025, remember, Kamala is lying, just like she lied about working at McDonalds (she didn’t!), or added 818,000 new jobs that didn’t exist (a fraud!), and sooo many other lies," Trump posted. "Just like San Francisco and California, itself, she would, if given the chance, COMPLETELY DESTROY OUR COUNTRY!"

Harris has said she briefly worked at a McDonald's in Alameda, California, in the early 1980s during a summer break from college, but Trump has repeatedly said he doesn't believe her and pledged last week that he would "work the french fry job for about a half an hour," but so far that hasn't happened.
