A woman President Donald Trump mocked over her weight as she was removed from a fiery Ohio rally is hitting back with a reminder about his own eating habits.
Blake, a 29-year-old Ohio artist, told PunchUp that Trump’s love of McDonald’s gives him little room to criticize her weight.
“He even said that we all could lose some weight, or something to that effect, because he too is not in ‘peak health’ and has never been, when his favorite place to eat is McDonald’s,” she said.
Blake said she was punched and had her hair pulled after shouting “Fascist!” during Trump’s Monday appearance in Youngstown. She wore a homemade shirt calling for the release of the Epstein files.
As she was being removed, Trump repeatedly referred to her as a man and mocked her appearance.
“Oh, he’s gotta go on a diet! He’s a fat guy,” Trump said. “Wow. Wow. Gotta go on a diet fast.”
Blake told PunchUp the encounter left her bruised, with a busted lip and back pain. It also left her “shell-shocked” and “intimidated.”
“This has been a really scary experience for me, but also living here in America under Trump has been scary,” she told PunchUp Friday. But she said she still stood by her decision to protest.
“It makes me think about how weak and pathetic of a man he is that he has to consistently punch down on women, instead of trying to uplift others,” she said.
“He is a disgrace to the title of president because he is not; he is a dictator.”
As PunchUp's Leigh Kimmins noted, former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski wrote in his 2017 book, "Let Trump Be Trump," "On Trump Force One, there were four major food groups: McDonald’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken, pizza, and Diet Coke.”
