Trump spokesperson says candidate isn't a woman-hating maniac -- he just plays one on TV

Donald Trump's spokeswoman Katrina Pierson gave an interesting reply Tuesday to a new ad from an anti-Trump conservative super PAC, which featured women reading back offensive things The Donald has said about many different women over the years.

"I really don't think this is gonna be a problem. A lot of those statements are what Mr. Trump made as a television character," Pierson said, during an appearance on Fox News. "So I don't think that some of that is gonna stick. Again, everyone knows who Mr. Trump is — that's why they're having a very hard time, spending hundreds of millions trying to redefine who Mr. Trump is."

But here's the thing: At least two of those quotes are from Trump as a candidate. (One of them was about Megyn Kelly, and the other about Carly Fiorina.) If you didn't know these quotes already — and which were from Trump as a "TV character," and which were as a presidential candidate — could you really tell which ones they were?

The two quotes are: "There was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her — wherever," regarding Megyn Kelly at the first Fox News debate; and of Carly Fiorina, "Look at that face — would anyone vote for that?"
