Trump supporter attacks Pelosi on Fox & Friends: Criticizing the president is the ‘definition of treason’

Fox News reporter Todd Piro spoke to a group of viewers in North Carolina on Wednesday who accused President Donald Trump's critics of treason.

Following a winter storm in North Carolina, Piro traveled to a diner in Dunn to "talk about the serious issues of the day."

One diner named Cathy -- a government contractor -- told Piro that she supports a government shutdown "even though it would hurt me financially."

"We need the wall," she explained. "There are so many people trying to bust down our wall and come into our country illegally. It's not that we don't want them, we do want them but we want them to come legally so we can see that they are here for the right purposes and not a terrorist or something. We need that wall."

Piro also spoke to Bob, who called future Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) "buffoons."

"All they want to do is increase their own power and disparage the president," Bob said.

"What do you say when people call this president, President Trump, unpresidential?" Piro wondered.

"I think it's next to treason," Bob insisted. "I think they need to support the president no matter who he is. You know, all this current group of Democrats are doing is providing aid and comfort to our enemies. And last I heard that was the definition of treason."
