Trump uses 'my poor Bernie' to slam Clinton over email probe: He just lost 'the FBI primary'

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump reacted to the announcement regarding the federal investigation into Hillary Clinton on Tuesday by involving Clinton's Democratic primary opponent, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)

The GOP's presumptive nominee said that Sanders had the most to lose regarding the FBI's decision not to indict the former secretary of state.

"Honestly, he was waiting for the FBI primary," said Trump. "And guess what? He just lost today -- the FBI primary. He lost the FBI primary, Bernie my poor Bernie, I feel so badly for Bernie."

The former reality TV host then told his supporters in Raleigh, North Carolina that "20 percent" of Sanders' supporters planned to vote for him in the general election.

But in reality, the Washington Post reported last week that that figure had dwindled down to 8 percent.
