Trump's doctor Ronny Jackson is the subject of 'improper conduct' claims -- and it may derail his VA nomination

The president's nominee to lead the department of Veterans Affairs is reportedly the subject of "improper conduct" allegations that may derail his confirmation.

CNN reported Monday evening that although the specific accusations against Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson — who currently serves as the president's personal physician — are not yet known to the public, they've been the subject of bipartisan concern among members of the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee.

Soon after CNN's initial report, the Washington Post broke news that the VA committee is postponing Jackson's confirmation hearing, which was scheduled for this Wednesday.

"I can tell you we’re vetting out Jackson,” Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT), the committee's ranking Democrat, told the Post. “I can’t get into specifics, but we’re doing our job to make sure he’s fit for the job.”
