Unfair! Poll finds most GOP voters aren't sure if Twitter gives Obama more than 140 characters

Anyone who’s ever tried to shoehorn a witty or incisive comment into a 140-character tweet can appreciate what just a few more letters and symbols might do to help.
After former George W. Bush spokesman Ari Fleischer suggested on Twitter this week that President Barack Obama got more than the allotted number of characters in his tweets -- a suggestion he quickly retracted -- he was widely mocked.
Question to @gov: how come @BarackObama 's last tweet was more than 140 characters? Does he play by different rules???

The Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling asked likely Republican primary voters Wednesday and Thursday whether they thought the president got more characters than other Twitter users.
The poll found 13 percent of likely GOP primary voters nationally think Obama gets more than 140 characters, while 36 percent don’t think so and 52 percent aren’t sure.
Pollsters did not ask those voters whether they believe the president writes the tweets himself or if he merely transcribes what he sees on a teleprompter.
