The View's Whoopi Goldberg goes on epic rant over Trump's demand for border wall: 'Pay for the wall yourself!'

"The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg was floored that President Donald Trump's demand for a massive concrete wall on the U.S.-Mexico border has now turned to take money out of the Pentagon and the military budgets.

"So there's apparently been a change of plans," Goldberg said, quoting Trump's tweet. He said that they would build the wall "through M," but didn't identify what "M" meant. To his supporters, it could have meant Mexico. The actuality, however, is that it'll be through the military.

"So, he's tryin' to get this wall built," Goldberg continued. "Dude -- but -- put your hand in your pockets and pay for the wall yourself! You got the money! Build the wall! You want build the wall. Stop trying to -- you know, Mexico told you they're not going to pay for it. We already told you -- taxpayers, 'We not building that! You said Mexico was doing it!' So, you should do it!"

Joy Behar joked that attorney Michael Cohen should pay for the wall and give a personal loan to Trump to build it.

Sara Haines noted that each time there is a new Trump scandal people wonder if "this will be the thing" that brings him down. She asked gust host Anthony Scaramucci if this would be something that would pull support away from him.

Unsurprisingly, he said "no." However, Haines wasn't letting up. She noted that past scandals have involved Trump personally and his behavior and morality. It attacked the man. In this case, it was a key Trump policy and campaign promise that incited chants at every rally he held. She wondered if because this was a policy issue that Trump has failed to deliver on, if his followers would be willing to abandon him.

Behar noted that nothing would ever move the Trump base.
