WATCH: Alt-right protester arrested after rushing stage at Trump-ish production of ‘Julius Caesar’

President Donald Trump's son Don Jr. recently attacked a performance of Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar" for depicting the former Roman politician as his father. During Friday night's production, a woman was arrested for attacking actors of the production, The New York Daily Newsreported.

While previous productions of the show have done the same with former President Barack Obama and former President George W. Bush without incident, this one earned backlash from the Trump children. and Don Jr. blamed the Virginia shooting on the show.

The NYDN reported that the incident was part of a "stunt" that was live streamed online by Citizens for Trump head Jack Posobiec. Laura Loomer currently works for an alt-right website and was rushing the stage following the reports of the use of Trump as the Caeser character.

“Goebbels would be proud!” Posobiec shouted to the audience.

A legal defense fund has been set up on Loomer's behalf.

"Two protesters disrupted our show tonight; we stopped the show for less than a minute and our stage manager handled it beautifully. The staff removed the protesters peacefully, and the show resumed with the line 'Liberty! Freedom!' The audience rose to their feet to thank the actors, and we joyfully continued. Free speech for all, but let's not stop the show," said Oskar Eustis, the artistic director of the Public Theater and director of the show.
