President Donald Trump will be delivering remarks at the commissioning ceremony of the USS Gerald R. Ford in Norfolk, Virginia Saturday morning.

The new aircraft carrier has billed by the U.S. Navy as “the most advanced in the world” with claims to have the ability to carry more aircraft and weapons than any previous ship.

Trump promoted his speech on Twitter Saturday morning, writing, "This morning I will be going to the Commissioning Ceremony for the largest aircraft carrier in the world, The Gerald R. Ford. Norfolk, Va."

Trump then went on a Twitter tirade.
