WATCH: Presidential candidate Howard Schultz sits down for CNN town hall

On Tuesday, billionaire presidential candidate, Howard Schultz, will sit down with CNN's Poppy Harlow for his first town hall in Houston, Texas.

The former CEO of Starbucks rolled out his campaign in a bumpy start by announcing that he would be running as an independent candidate. This has left many to believe that he would divide the anti-Trump vote and push the president to an easy victory in 2020.

"Thank you @PoppyHarlowCNN and @CNN for hosting next Tuesday night! I look forward to the dialogue and meeting Texans exhilarated by the idea of restoring power to the American people," he tweeted.

Schultz is expected to address criticism about the two party system, health care, and even said that if elected he would immediately release his tax returns according to CNN.

A CNN poll also showed that 46 percent of Americans never heard of Schultz.
