WATCH: Did Melania just take a shot at Trump in her latest anti-cyberbullying speech?

First lady Melania Trump on Monday delivered a new speech to discuss her "Be Best" campaign to stop children from being cyberbullied -- and she may have used the speech to take a veiled shot at President Donald Trump.

During the first lady's remarks, she said that social media services such as Twitter and Facebook "can be destructive and harmful if used incorrectly." Later in the speech, she then added, "Let’s face it: most children are more aware of the benefits and pitfalls of social media than some adults."

CNN's Poppy Harlow, shortly after listening to the first lady's remarks, immediately wondered whether the "some adults" remark was aimed at her own husband, who frequently uses social media to bully his political foes. Just last week, for example, the president referred to former White House aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman as "that dog" in an angry Twitter tirade.

"The elephant in the room is the cyberbullying that her husband, the president, engages in on a daily basis," Harlow said.

CNN contributor Kate Andersen Brower agreed with Harlow that she was struck by Melania's mention of "some adults" who engage in cyberbullying as "a veiled message to her husband."

"She has asked him to tone down his tweeting," the CNN contributor explained.
