WATCH: South Carolina teacher drags boy from class and kicks him for making animal sounds

A South Carolina teacher was fired for kicking a student who was disruptive in class.

Students say Tierra Walker dumped the 11-year-old boy out of his chair Oct. 4, dragged him from the room and kicked his leg out of the classroom doorway, reported WCIV-TV.

Other students say the boy was making animal noises instead of listening to the teacher, and police said he refused to leave the classroom.

Surveillance video show Walker kicking the student just before the classroom door is shut, and it also shows him on the floor in the hallway at Goose Creek Elementary School.

A Berkeley County schools spokeswoman said Walker was no longer employed by the school.

No assault charges will be filed against the teacher.
