She named no sender, produced no document, and her posts offered no evidence that anyone gave such an instruction.
"It seems like a memo was sent out ahead of the RNC midterm convention to prevent the GOP from talking about Islamic jihad," Loomer wrote at 7:47 a.m. "The messaging is very weak … There was definitely a memo sent out."
Loomer wrote in that same post that not a single speaker had raised the subject, and that Texas "is being Islamified before our eyes." Organizers scheduled 109 speakers and programming items across the two nights, according to the convention schedule the party released in advance.
"Have you noticed how the GOP is avoiding speaking about Islam at the midterm convention?" Loomer asked in a longer post at 9:11 a.m. "The messaging is very mild. Too much talk about 'socialism' and nothing about Islamic jihad and Sharia Law."
Loomer also faulted whoever scheduled the gathering during the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, writing in that post that "the least you could do is talk about the Islamic threat." She tied the timing to conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10, 2025, one year to the day before she posted.
"Seems like the GOP is surrendering to Islam," Loomer wrote. "The words 'communist and jihadist' are much more powerful" than "radical and leftist."
"No mention of the threat of Islam tonight at the RNC midterm convention," Loomer had written at 9:27 p.m. Wednesday, hours before the memo claim. "It's so bizarre."
Loomer spent the convention's opening night working the concourses of the American Airlines Center, where two reporters covering the event documented her confronting a former Republican candidate for Florida governor.
The Telegraph's chief Washington correspondent, Connor Stringer, reported that Loomer confronted James Fishback over "campaigning with Muslims," and photographed the two speaking in a hallway off the arena floor.
The two went back and forth in what Stringer described as an open and friendly discussion, and Loomer told Fishback he should not throw his "talents" away by associating with people like the streamer Sneako, according to Stringer's account.
Bloomberg News Washington correspondent Josh Wingrove posted video of the same conversation at 7:06 p.m., describing it as a lengthy discussion in the convention halls.
Fishback, the founder and chief executive of the investment firm Azoria, finished far behind Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) in Florida's Republican primary for governor on Aug. 18, which Donalds won with 47.8% of the vote. Sneako, whose legal name is Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy, is a streamer who converted to Islam in 2023, according to Fox News.
About half an hour after that exchange, Loomer gave an interview in a convention corridor to Abteen Vaziri, who described himself during the conversation as an Iranian American who had run unsuccessfully for Congress as a Republican in Texas.
"We have a massive foreign influence operation in America for the Iranian lobby," Loomer told Vaziri. "You see the way that they've even tried to infiltrate the Trump administration through, you know, their conversations with the vice president."
Loomer named Trita Parsi of the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, a foreign policy advocacy group, and said she had led an effort to have him deported. She told Vaziri she was not accusing Vice President JD Vance of lobbying for Iran, but said Vance had given a speech to the group years earlier and maintained a close relationship with it.
"You see this in the way that they are, you know, amplified by people like Tucker Carlson and all of these traitors," Loomer said in the same interview. "These woke right traitors."
Loomer has pressed Vance on Carlson for weeks. In a post on Sept. 3, she demanded that the vice president condemn the broadcaster, writing that "there is a time for picking sides and now is the time," and that it mattered especially for someone who wants to be president in 2028.
Loomer has a long-running feud with Carlson, which only escalated after the conservative broadcaster broke with the president.
The convention Loomer was criticizing had struggled before she arrived. Thirty-three House Republicans said they would not attend, according to an NBC News count, and members were asked to pay $25,000 for convention tickets and lodging.
Photographs and video from inside the arena showed stretches of empty seats before Trump spoke Wednesday, Newsweek reported. The party had said the venue holds 21,000 people and that it expected 20,000.
Trump told the crowd the arena was packed and suggested the empty seats in the photographs were people who had stepped away to use the bathroom, the outlet reported. He had called the event sold out beforehand.
The convention also ran against the first two games of the NFL season and bumped up against the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, the same scheduling Loomer complained about.
New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman said on MS NOW's "Morning Joe" that people around Trump privately acknowledged the timing was an "error" they had not been paying attention to, HuffPost reported.
Vance delivered the convention's keynote address on the opening night, hours after Loomer's hallway interview. Trump was scheduled to close the second night with his own keynote.
