Already mired in an unpopular war in the Middle East, buffeted by a struggling job market and a cratering stock market, and facing new questions about his involvement with convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, Donald Trump saw fit to use his widely-viewed Truth Social platform on Friday morning to lash out at HBO host Bill Maher.

In the space of approximately 15 minutes, the president authored eight posts, each linking to a report from far-right and television trade websites reporting on his hatred of the late-night host, including calling Maher a “jerk” and a “total waste of time.”
