A tit-for-tat between the Canadian prime minister and President-elect Donald Trump is brewing – and Fox News hosts didn’t waste time weighing in on the international back and forth.

Canadian Prime Minister Justice Trudeau made waves in MAGA world after he declared earlier this week that he is “and always will be a proud feminist,” Fox News Digital reported. The remarks came during a speech in Ottawa where he grumbled about the United States’ failure to elect a female president for a second time, according to the network.

'Absolutely wrong': Outrage hits Biden over 2 criminals named in historic mass clemency

President Joe Biden announced a historic mass clemency this week, commuting the sentences of 1,500 nonviolent offenders who were previously transferred from prison to house arrest as part of a COVID pandemic measure to reduce the risk of infection in federal prisons.

But it's unclear whether the president reviewed all the cases he commuted because, according to CNN, two of them in particular were infamous public corruption cases — and the commutations have spurred outrage in affected communities.

'Alternate reality': NYT experiment immerses reporter in far-right media

One common explanation for the outcome of the 2024 presidential election is that the far-right's vast social media ecosystem was able to reach more Americans than traditional media, influencing a decisive number of voters in key battleground states. One New York Times reporter decided to put himself in those Americans' shoes for a week and document the results.

In a Friday article, journalist Stuart A. Thompson — who covers right-wing media — dove head-first into Rumble, which is a preferred video news platform for the extreme right. As Thompson noted, Rumble began as a YouTube alternative that was known for cat videos until the January 6, 2021 siege of the U.S. Capitol. Once YouTube banned multiple accounts for their defense of insurrectionists, those content creators migrated their channels and audiences to Rumble.

When Kath Patel wrote his memoir last year, he claimed to have been a critical piece in the investigation of the attack on a diplomatic compound in Benghazi in 2012. But a new report found his claims were grossly exaggerated.
