Trump's 'stunning' chat with reporters raises red flags for analyst: 'His brain is mush'

President Donald Trump's "stunning" chat with reporters before he boarded Air Force One to fly back to the White House after Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Monday night raised red flags for one political analyst.

David Pakman, host of the "David Pakman Show" on YouTube, argued during a new reaction video on Tuesday that Trump's press gaggle with reporters revealed the state of the president's mental health. Trump seemed like a bird distracted by a piece of tinsel as Interior Secretary Doug Burgum responded to a reporter's question, Pakman argued. Trump then chimed in, taking the conversation in a strange direction.

Mike Johnson's closed-door Trump meeting on controversial pick 'didn't go well': report

President Donald Trump's acting Director of National Intelligence got a disastrous meeting with House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), according to Politico — increasing the likelihood Trump will simply not nominate anyone for the post at all and leave him in limbo on an acting basis.

Capitol Hill insiders briefed on the meeting "were left with the impression it didn’t go very well," said the report. Johnson, for his part, has tried to downplay this impression and has "told reporters Tuesday that the meeting went well but declined to discuss specifics. He added that 'Democrats have taken a hostage' and that the Senate would need to quickly figure out a path forward."

DOJ transcripts of botched indictment baffle legal experts: 'Incredible stuff'

Legal experts' suspicion of misconduct in the so-called "Broadview Six" case was confirmed with the release of grand jury transcripts on Tuesday, proving that prosecutors resorted to illegal tactics to coerce jurors into returning an indictment against anti-deportation protesters in Chicago.

The revelations in the transcripts prompted some attorneys not only to declare the indictment illegal, but to speculate that punishments could be coming for the Justice Department prosecutors involved in the case — up to and including the loss of their law licenses.

'Panicked' Trump cold-calling state allies as his coalition falls apart: Analyst

President Donald Trump's repeated, desperate demands for various state legislatures in Republican-controlled states to roll back voting rights and rig congressional maps are a clear sign he knows his coalition is falling apart ahead of November, former Democratic New York state Sen. Daniel Squadron told MS NOW's Nicolle Wallace on "Deadline: White House."

This comes after Trump was ruthlessly booed as he attended the Knicks game at Madison Square Garden on Monday — an event that led ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith, who has flirted with the idea of a political career, to slam Trump for disrupting local New York businesses, demanding to know "How much money did they make? We know you've made a lot of money."

Trump prosecutor busted purging skeptical grand jurors in ICE protest case

A federal prosecutor in Chicago wanted six ICE protesters indicted. One grand jury told her no. So she went looking for a panel that would say yes — and when a juror on that second panel called her case garbage, she told him to leave the room.

That's the picture painted by grand jury transcripts the court made public Tuesday, an extraordinary window into secret proceedings that almost never see the light of day. U.S. District Judge April Perry ordered the release of records from three days of hearings — Oct. 9, Oct. 16, and Oct. 23, 2025 — that ultimately sank one of the highest-profile prosecutions of the Trump administration's Chicago immigration crackdown.
