Trump-pardoned CEO's firm accused of 'knowingly' enabling Hamas attacks

A new lawsuit against a cryptocurrency company whose billionaire founder was recently pardoned of federal crimes by President Donald Trump argued that the firm "knowingly" helped finance the Oct. 7, 2021, attack on Israel by Hamas, Reuters reported on Monday.

The firm, Binance, serves as an exchange for cryptocurrency trading, and was the primary competitor to FTX before the latter firm was implicated in a fraud scheme by its CEO and declared bankruptcy in 2022.

'Incompetent kook!' Trump lawyer catches heat for cheering high-profile court losses

President Donald Trump's assistant attorney general for the DOJ's civil rights division caught heat from political observers and analysts on Monday after she appeared to celebrate a pair of high-profile court losses.

U.S. District Judge Cameron Currie tossed out the Trump administration's prosecution of former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James, ruling that interim U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan was illegally serving in office. Currie wrote in his opinion that Halligan's actions were "unlawful exercises of executive power and are hereby set aside."

'Dangerous': Steve Bannon leads MAGA civil war on Trump's AI policy

President Donald Trump is all-in on pushing a future built on artificial intelligence — but a lot of MAGA loyalists are balking at this, and perhaps few more so than his longtime ally and former strategist Steve Bannon.

This comes as Trump unveils his so-called "Genesis Mission," a White House-led initiative to support AI development for scientific research and build an AI platform to coordinate datasets across federal departments.

DOJ must fork over records on Epstein handling on an expedited basis: judge

The Department of Justice must produce records related to its handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files to a media organization on an expedited basis, federal Judge Tanya Chutkan of the District of Columbia ordered Monday, according to a new report.

Politico's Senior Legal Affairs Reporter, Kyle Cheney, reported on Monday night that Chutkan ordered the Justice Department to turn over records to Democracy Forward Foundation, a nonprofit legal organization led by Sky Perryman. Her order only applies to records related to the department's handling of the files, including “records reflecting all correspondence between Donald J. Trump and Jeffrey Epstein,” according to the 15-page document.

'Not endorsing anyone!' Resigning MAGA firebrand vows to snub any GOP successor

A MAGA firebrand said on Monday that she will sit out of the 2026 midterm election, which calls into question the GOP's chances of retaining her seat, according to a new report.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said on Monday that she will not endorse a candidate to replace her in next year's midterm, Politico reported on Monday. The news comes days after Greene announced her retirement from Congress, citing ongoing tensions with President Donald Trump.

'Pretty alarming': Ex-GOP strategist 'blown away' by MAGA darling's wild new theory

A former GOP strategist said on Monday that he was "blown away" when he heard a MAGA darling's latest conspiracy theory.

Last week, Candace Owens claimed in a post on X that the governments of Israel and France were trying to assassinate her. She made the accusation after creating several episodes of her popular podcast, where she accused the Israeli government of assassinating conservative activist Charlie Kirk and said French President Emmanuel Macron's wife is transgender.

Ex-US attorneys say Lindsey Halligan's disqualification puts entire office 'in jeopardy'

On Monday, a judge ruled that acting U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan was improperly appointed, and subsequently dismissed her indictments of former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James (D). Former federal prosecutors are now saying that the judge's ruling may have thrown all of her office's work into question.

During a Monday segment on CNN, former U.S. attorneys Harry Litman — who led the Department of Justice's (DOJ, or Main Justice) operations in the Western District of Pennsylvania under former President Bill Clinton's tenure — and Greg Brower, who handled cases in the District of Nevada during the George W. Bush and Barack Obama administrations, both agreed that anything bearing Halligan's name is likely now damaged goods.

Trump just got a 'powerful' message that could 'cripple' his power: Ex-GOP analyst

With Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) planning to resign from Congress after years as a loyal MAGA footsoldier, her farewell statement laden with disillusionment against Trump's movement is a flashing danger sign for the president that his whole base could fracture, former GOP speechwriter Tim Miller told MSN NOW's Nicolle Wallace on Monday.

"Your thoughts on this moment for Donald Trump and Marjorie Taylor Greene?" asked Wallace.

'We will not let them die ignored': Bishop eulogizes thousands slated to die from GOP cuts

Surrounded by cardboard “tombstones” that displayed likely causes of death of thousands of people in the United States under Republican policies, Bishop William J. Barber II on Monday gave a eulogy in Raleigh, North Carolina, honoring those who are being directly targeted by the Trump administration’s cuts to healthcare, public health funding, and other essential government programs.

The word “eulogy,” he said, comes from the Greek word “eulogia,” and means “good words.”

Karoline Leavitt jokes that her job gave her PTSD

Karoline Leavitt, the current White House press secretary under President Donald Trump, jokingly suggested her role was giving her post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) on Monday, while also bemoaning several vacations that have been disrupted by her job.

The youngest person to ever hold the job at only 28 years old, Leavitt has distinguished herself as press secretary for her persistent loyalty to Trump and her frequent clashes with reporters over unflattering questions about him. In recent weeks, for example, she deflected questions about Trump's Truth Social post calling for Democratic lawmakers to face the death penalty and suggested that reporters ought to feel grateful for his honesty after he called a female journalist "piggy" when she pressed him about the release of files related to Jeffrey Epstein.

'Woe to the public': Trump admin official gets 40-minute grilling in Gulf of America case

A federal judge pressed a Trump administration official Monday in an appeal case involving The Associated Press refusing to call the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America.

Nicolle Wallace floored as Republicans act like 'prisoners' — whose doors aren't locked

MS NOW host Nicolle Wallace said on Monday that Republicans are acting like political prisoners who remain in captivity even though the door to their proverbial jail cell is unlocked.

Wallace, host of "Deadline: White House," noted during the Monday broadcast of her show that Republicans have seemingly followed President Donald Trump in lockstep as he dismantled the independence of Congress. For instance, Trump has sought to withhold Congressionally approved funding through recissions unilaterally, and his administration has conducted several strikes on alleged drug boats, moves that some experts have said require the approval of Congress.

Pete Hegseth's threat against senator poised to backfire spectacularly: observers

President Donald Trump's Defense Secretary, Pete Hegseth, has threatened to call up Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) into active military service again, just so he can court-martial him — but even if he goes through with this plan, it is likely to backfire spectacularly, some observers warned on Monday.

Kelly is one of six Democratic lawmakers from a military background who made a joint video reminding active servicemembers that if they are given illegal orders, like to kill unarmed civilians or take over civilian law enforcement in American cities, they have a duty to refuse those orders.
