Comer and Ranking Member Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) were briefed and allowed to view the document (an FBI-generated FD-1023 form) that allegedly shows that, while serving as vice president, Biden and a foreign national were involved in a $5 million criminal scheme.

Researcher hired by Trump campaign seemed 'amazed' at 'shoddy' theories he was asked to investigate: report

In 2020, former President Donald Trump's campaign hired two private firms to investigate claims of mass voter fraud in the presidential election, and both firms concluded that there was simply insufficient evidence to prove the election had been stolen by President Joe Biden.

Now the Washington Post reports that both special counsel Jack Smith and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis have taken interest in the firms' work as they probe whether Trump broke any laws when he tried to stay in power after losing the 2020 election.

'These people keep humiliating themselves': Morning Joe flattens the GOP's floundering Biden probes

On Monday morning, MSNBC "Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough dumped all over the Republicans leading the investigations into Joe Biden's family and singled out Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) for admitting he doesn't care if there was criminal activity or not.

That set off Scarborough.

"That's just -- that's again, Michael Kinsley's definition of a gaffe where somebody in Washington accidentally tells the truth," Scarborough told his panel.

"I mean, we have that time and time again whether it's the Durham investigation, whether it's the Comer investigation, these people keep humiliating themselves," he continued before adding, "And it's left to the Wall Street Journal editorial page to try to clean it up for them, but even they're saying there's no smoking gun."

Joe Biden has figured out a way to pit GOP lawmakers against the MAGA extremists: columnist

In light of President Joe Biden's successful budget negotiations with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) the Washington Post's Greg Sargent suggested Democrats use his strategy to get Republicans to ignore their far-right colleagues and their threats that never come to fruition.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A Chinese warship came within 150 yards (137 meters) of a U.S. destroyer in the Taiwan Strait in "an unsafe manner," U.S. military officials said, as China blamed the United States for "deliberately provoking risk" in the region.

U.S. and Canadian navies were conducting a joint exercise in the strait, which separates the island of Taiwan and China, when the Chinese ship cut in front of the U.S. guided-missile destroyer Chung-Hoon forcing it to slow down to avoid a collision, the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command said in a statement on Saturday.
