'I've taken 7 wrong turns': Katie Miller mocked for confession about bad driving

Podcast host and wife of Stephen Miller, Katie Miller, says she leans on her car’s self-driving software so much that she’s lost the knack for doing it herself.

“I’ve forgotten how to drive a car without FSD,” Miller wrote on X Thursday, using the abbreviation for Tesla’s Full Self-Driving feature.

“I’ve become so accustomed to the car navigating to a destination on its own that plugging a destination into Google Maps and driving there myself feels archaic,” she continued. “And I’ve also taken 7 wrong turns that added 20 minutes.”

Miller is married to White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller. She previously worked as an adviser to Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO, during his time leading the Department of Government Efficiency. She now hosts “The Katie Miller Podcast.”

Her post drew more than 58,000 views and 240 replies, and many of them weren’t kind.

Ben Studebaker, a political writer and podcaster, wrote that Miller’s confession made her sound “easy to control with cake and circuses.”

Other commenters accused her of promoting Musk’s product, and some simply called her names.

Tesla says its Full Self-Driving software, officially “Full Self-Driving (Supervised),” still requires an attentive driver ready to take over at any time.
