Trump insiders worry as critical small-dollar donors abandon his campaign: report

While Donald Trump's team may be courting big-dollar donors like Elon Musk to catch up with President Joe Biden's war chest, the warning bells are sounding for an erosion in small-dollar donors.

Trump's campaign team is quietly vexed about the lack of the smaller donors that buoyed the former president to the White House back in 2016, according to a CNBC report that cites members of Trump's inner sanctum.

Veteran Fox News host is infuriating MAGA Republicans — here's how

Fox News has had plenty of turnover during its 28-year history.

But "Fox & Friends" co-host Steve Doocy, like Sean Hannity, has been with the right-wing cable TV outlet since 1996 — the year it was launched. And Fox News chose Doocy as a "Fox & Friends" co-host in 1998.

DeSantis signs bills intended to drive undocumented immigrants out of Florida

Gov. Ron DeSantis signed legislation Friday designed to make it harder for undocumented immigrants to live in the state — thereby, he said, possibly deterring them from coming here.

The measures include driving without a license, “non-official ID cards,” and bumping up certain criminal penalties, all to highlight immigration restrictions just days before the state’s Republican presidential preference primary. (There’s no Democratic primary on Tuesday.)

'Going to end badly': GOP donor says Trump will lose if he keeps ignoring Haley’s voters

Former President Donald Trump officially locked up enough delegates to become the presumptive GOP presidential nominee after winning Tuesday's Republican primary in Georgia. However, he has yet to make any efforts to unite his party after dispatching his former UN ambassador Nikki Haley — his last remaining rival — on Super Tuesday.

In her concession speech, Haley refused to endorse Trump and said the former president would have to "earn" the votes of her supporters between March and November. Trump has so far not made any direct pleas to Haley voters, and continues to mock the former South Carolina governor on social media. In an interview with Politico, one unnamed "top Haley donor" said Trump ignores the sizable swath of GOP voters who were in Haley's corner at his own peril.

U.S. election tests Trump's 'Teflon Don' image

He was impeached twice, found liable in fraud and sexual abuse lawsuits, charged with dozens of felonies and declared politically dead again and again -- but count Donald Trump out at your peril.

Eight months ahead of the US presidential election, and days before he is due to stand trial for alleged 2016 campaign finance violations, the Republican tycoon looks as strong politically as he ever has.

At a time when the 2024 presidential campaign is just kicking into gear, former President Donald Trump's ability to hit the road is facing a major roadblock as his Manhattan hush money trial begins in less than two weeks and is expected to suck up all his time for at least the next two months.

According to a report from the Daily Beast's Jake Lahut and Jose Pagliery, New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan has set a "punishing" schedule for the trial that will look at the former president paying off adult film star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 presidential election.

Trump, Biden clinch enough delegates for U.S. presidential nomination

Atlanta (AFP) - Joe Biden and rival Donald Trump each won enough delegates Tuesday to clinch their party nominations in the 2024 presidential race, networks projected, all but assuring a rematch and setting up one of the longest election campaigns in US history. The results in four statewide elections Tuesday, the latest in the months-long march to determine the Democratic and Republican party flagbearers, were essentially a foregone conclusion as incumbent Biden and former president Trump had already seen off all primary challengers. Biden crossed the threshold of 1,968 delegates needed when ...

'Major red flag': Trump struggles in Georgia counties where primary voters choose Haley

Georgia's primary election Tuesday secured for President Joe Biden enough delegates to win the Democratic nomination but showed signs of trouble ahead for former President Donald Trump, experts said.

Trump easily secured the state with 84.3 of the vote as of 10 p.m. but he was barely above 50 percent in the Atlanta-area Fulton and DeKalb counties, according to New York Times projections.

'Behind in the money race': ex-White House aide warns Trump's war chest is a big problem

Donald Trump is losing the money race against President Joe Biden and it could cost him the 2024 presidential election, according to the former President's onetime Communications director.

Alyssa Farah Griffin, Trump's former White House communications director, took to the air waves Tuesday as Biden secured the Democratic nomination. She argued the 45th president has political momentum ahead of the Nov. 5 election but is trailing far behind Biden when it comes to fattening up his coffers.

Blistering takedown of Jim Jordan opens Hur hearing: 'Wonder if you have read' report

In Tuesday's House Judiciary Committee hearing with special counsel Robert Hur, who investigated classified documents found in President Joe Biden's personal belongings, ranking member Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) tore into Republicans for misrepresenting the conclusions of the report — and went after former President Donald Trump's own issues with top secret materials, which have landed him in considerably more legal trouble.

"House Republicans may be desperate to convince America that white, conservative men are on the losing end of a two-tiered justice system, a theory that appeals to the MAGA crowd that has no basis in reality," said Nadler, addressing Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH).

Trump promises to free U.S. Capitol rioters if reelected

Donald Trump on Monday pledged to free people jailed for taking part in the 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol as one of his first actions if reelected, calling them "hostages."
