In a surprise announcement on Thursday afternoon, Department of Justice Inspector General William Blier is initiating a review of his department over complaints that the release of the entire Jeffrey Epstein files is not in compliance with the law signed by Donald Trump.

Posted on the DOJ’s website, Blier stated, “The DOJ Office of the Inspector General (OIG) is initiating an audit of DOJ’s compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Our preliminary objective is to evaluate the DOJ’s processes for identifying, redacting, and releasing records in its possession as required by the Act.”

President Donald Trump's Justice Department attached the "wrong document" to a filing in their lawsuit against the state of Minneosta to obtain their full, unredacted voter rolls, liberal elections outlet Democracy Docket reported on Friday.

"The Trump DOJ’s latest blunder came one day after it asked a federal court for permission to fix what judges across the country have already called a fatal defect in its voter roll demands: failing to explain why it needed the data in the first place," said the report. Despite Trump promises, DOJ drops thousands of crime cases

As reported by ProPublica, Attorney General Pam Bondi's DOJ shuttered over 23,000 criminal cases in its first six months, abandoning investigations into terrorism, white-collar crime, drugs and nursing home abuse.
