Far-right host claims Black and Latino voters will support Trump once he's convicted

Far-right conspiracy theorist and host Wayne Allyn Root told Roger Stone in a discussion Sunday that he thinks minority voters will ultimately come out more for Donald Trump if he's convicted of a crime.

"Well, I, I'm with you that Black votes are the key or minority votes are the key here — Black and Latino votes," Root told Stone. "And every time they indict him and if they convict him — God forbid, but you and I both know those juries and those judges are all biased and against us. If he's convicted before the election — which I'd say is probably almost a certainty. Now, in one of these cases — maybe more than one — I think Black voters who believe the system is rigged against them come to Trump even more."

Ex-conservative blasts media for not covering the threat to democracy — again

Columnist Jennifer Rubin, who describes herself as an ex-conservative, blasted the media on Sunday, saying that they're ignoring the threat to democracy that is coming again in the election.

At issue is the recent polling showing that President Joe Biden's poll numbers were down as he kicks off his 2024 campaign. Trump announced his campaign on Nov. 16, 2022. It brought the media together to endless conversations about Biden stepping out of the race. There's no evidence of it, and it isn't a reality, but the media still reported it.

Tim Scott abandons 2024 presidential race

Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) left the presidential race on Sunday night, reported MSNBC, citing a Fox report.

"One thing I would recommend to every American if you ever want to love your country more, run for president," Scott told Trey Gowdy. "Traveling this country and meeting people [was] one of the most fantastic experiences of my entire life. I love America more today than I did on May 22. When I go back to Iowa, it will not be as a presidential candidate. I am suspending my campaign. I think the voters were the most remarkable people on the planet have been really clear. They are telling me not now. I don't think they're saying no, but I do think they're saying not now. So, I'm going to respect the voters, and I'm going to hold on and work really hard and look forward to the other opportunities."

MAGA fan dumbstruck when asked which side has really been crying about the 2020 election

"The Good Liars," comedians who interview Donald Trump's supporters, confronted MAGA fans at a recent event using the ex-president's own words to ask about him.

While Trump's father, Donald Trump, has confessed that they lied, he argued that it didn't hurt anyone; thus, they should be considered innocent.

'Cut the games': Speaker Johnson roasted by hometown paper over his budget antics

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) was put on notice on Sunday by his hometown paper that the editorial board expects him to honor his commitment to return the fractious House to the "serious" business of working for the voters.

According to the editors of The Advocate, it is time for Johnson and House Republican Majority Leader Steve Scalise, also representing Louisiana, to stop larding their budget proposal with far-right "political riders” that will doom the budget as the clock ticks down before the government is thrown into chaos.

"Cut the games. If you promise regular order, let’s see it in action," the editors wrote.

"Johnson was wrong to push an emergency measure that tied aid to our ally Israel to a GOP hobbyhorse, cutting the Internal Revenue Service budget, as some anti-government Republicans want to do," they continued. "That just adds to the deficit, as it lets more high-income tax cheats defeat the system; for most of us, it just means the IRS can’t hire enough people to answer the darn phone."

DeSantis' refusal to 'act normal' cost him a key billionaire donor: insider

In a deep dive into a growing rift between conservative tech billionaires and the Republican party's 2024 presidential nomination aspirants, the Washington Post is reporting that top candidates Donald Trump and Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) have alienated the wealthy donors due to their extremist antics.

According to the report, key Silicon Valley tech executives don't care about social issues and are desperately looking for someone who will do their bidding when it comes to deregulation.

However, when it comes to Trump and DeSantis, their obsession with red meat cultural issues favored by their fans has alienated key donors.

The Post is reporting, "Although the tech elite often have criticized the left and 'wokeness,' some now say the GOP has overemphasized divisive social issues such as transgender rights and abortion at the expense of the tech titans’ primary political goal: radical deregulation."

Case in point, the report notes, is billionaire David Sacks who moderated the DeSantis campaign launch along with Elon Musk back when "X" was still called Twitter.

Since that time, along with X's fortunes, that relationship has gone downhill.

"The right-wing venture capitalist David Sacks was a major DeSantis backer, hosting the launch of DeSantis’s presidential campaign on X, formerly Twitter, in the spring," the Post is reporting. "But in recent months, Sacks has soured on DeSantis, according to two people familiar with his thinking, and has thrown fundraisers for rivals Vivek Ramaswamy and Robert F. Kennedy Jr, then running as a Democrat."

According to one insider, Sacks has parted ways with DeSantis because of the direction his struggling campaign has taken.

“Most Silicon Valley people are politically but not socially conservative,” asserted a Sacks associate. “All DeSantis needed to be was normal. Now he’s gone nuts on this woke thing.”

As for Trump, an associate of billionaire Peter Thiel explained his departure from the former president's camp, "The problem was Trump was very undisciplined, and his own character traits sabotaged the policy changes. Instead of just executing relentlessly, he would cause turmoil and chaos, and that would interfere with his agenda.”
