The Hill's Hanna Trudo reported that "Trump was scheduled to hold a virtual roundtable with RFK Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard today, which has now been canceled."

But in recent years, Claremont has taken a far-right ultra-MAGA turn — repeatedly praising former President Donald Trump, promoting Christian nationalism and arguing that democracy and traditional conservatism have outlived their usefulness.

In 2021, Claremont's American Mind website published a controversial essay by senior fellow Glenn Ellmers, who wrote, "Most people living in the United States today — certainly more than half — are not Americans in any meaningful sense of the term." Ellmer's piece was slammed as dangerous and troubling by many Never Trump conservatives, including writers for The Bulwark.

The allegations of fraud are getting even more serious at America PAC, the organization funded by tech billionaire Elon Musk that is running a large part of former President Donald Trump's voter canvassing operation in battleground states.

According to The Guardian's Hugo Lowell, "A bootleg how-to-spoof video, made by an America Pac canvasser in Nevada and obtained by the Guardian, shows the apparent ease with which locations can be changed to fake door-knocks, calling into question how many Trump voters have actually been reached by the field operation."
