Billionaire philanthropist Oprah Winfrey is set to take the stage at the Democratic National Committee in Chicago, for a surprise speech in support of Vice President Kamala Harris' 2024 campaign.

Winfrey has a history of political involvement with Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden. She is expected to speak enthusiastically in favor of the Harris-Walz ticket.

Former President Bill Clinton reminded viewers of the Democratic National Convention that he was "still younger" than Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Wednesday evening at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago saw the party's response to GOP saber-rattling on border security, with their own attacks on former President Donald Trump as all talk and no action to ease the migrant crisis and keep the border safe.
