Joe Biden blamed for Donald Trump's re-election win

Joe Biden is ultimately to blame for Donald Trump's election win, according to an analysis.

Lindsey Graham takes aim at Jack Smith as Trump heads toward victory

With Donald Trump headed for a return to the Oval Office, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), a ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee took to social media platform X and singled out special counsel Jack Smith, informing the DOJ employee that his time investigating Trump will soon come to end.

Smith has been pursuing Trump in a Florida courtroom over stolen government documents in a case being overseen by Trump-appointee Judge Aileen Cannon –– which is on appeal after she dismissed the charges –– and in the Washington, D.C., courtroom of Judge Tanya Chutkan related to his part in attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.

As the Guardian reported late election night, Graham seemed to be putting Smith and investigators working out of the DOJ on notice that their investigation of newly-elected Trump will be dropped by the incoming Republican-appointed attorney general.

Graham, an avid defender of all Trump has done, wrote, "To Jack Smith and your team: It is time to look forward to a new chapter in your legal careers as these politically motivated charges against President Trump hit a wall. The Supreme Court substantially rejected what you were trying to do, and after tonight, it’s clear the American people are tired of lawfare."

"Bring these cases to an end. The American people deserve a refund," he added.

While those federal cases may go away, the former president is still facing sentencing in Manhattan after being convicted on 34 state felony charges of business fraud. Additionally there is still a pending Trump trial in Georgia, also related to the 2020 presidential election.
