Marjorie Taylor Greene's boyfriend says he doesn't 'want to get sued' for election claims

"Pennsylvania is great!" Marjorie Taylor Greene's boyfriend shouted as he walked down the line of people who hope to attend Saturday's rally in the state. Moments later, he was saying he doesn't want to be sued and dodging questions of election integrity.

Right Side Broadcasting Network's Brian Glenn is known as the boyfriend of the far-right lawmaker who recently threatened to take the gavel from House Speaker Mike Johnson. On Saturday, however, Glenn was interviewing Trump rally attendees for RSBN's live feed.

'Stop whining Donny': Convicted Trump ally tells ex-president 'it's time to pay the piper'

A man who was prosecuted for what he says were crimes he committed on behalf of Donald Trump has a serious warning for the former president.

Trump on Saturday attacked a key witness in his felony criminal trial slated for Monday, prompting some to ask if there will be "consequences" for the apparent violation of a gag order in the hush money case. Trump 'attacking a key witness' just before trial spurs gag order questions from experts

Donald Trump on Saturday attacked a key witness in his felony criminal trial slated for Monday, prompting some to ask if there will be "consequences" for the apparent violation of a gag order in the hush money case.

Trump, who has long tested the gag orders applied to him in criminal and civil cases alike, even being fined in the past for violations, is scheduled to give a rally on Saturday. But before that speech, he took to his social media network, Truth Social, to attack those connected to the upcoming criminal case.

'A dark day for our country': Trump flips out and points fingers as felony trial looms

Just prior to holding a rally in the political hotbed of Schnecksville, Pennsylvania late Saturday afternoon, Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform to snarl and complain and point fingers over his impending 34-felony count trial set to commence in Manhattan on Monday morning.

The former president, who has been busily endorsing Republican candidates on social media, started off slowly and then built into a full-fledged meltdown over his most pressing legal problem at the moment.

On Truth Social, he first began with, "Heading to Philadelphia and then to a BIG Rally in Allentown, Pennsylvania," before launching his diatribe.

"There is NO WAY I can be given a Fair (Biden) Trial on Monday with Judge Juan Merchan, who is totally conflicted and corrupt, presiding. Soros backed Alvin Bragg, the 'District Attorney' who has, along with his sidekick Leticia James, let violent crime flourish in New York, never wanted to bring this case because it is a sham and mockery of our legal system. He brought it anyway for purposes of saving the WORST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES. ELECTION INTERFERENCE!"

He then added, "Has Mark POMERANTZ been prosecuted for his terrible acts in and out of the D.A.’s Office. Has disgraced attorney and felon Michael Cohen been prosecuted for LYING?"

"Only TRUMP people get prosecuted by this Judge and these thugs! A dark day for our Country. MAGA2024!!!" he accused.

Insiders fear 'Trump fatigue' may cripple campaign as Manhattan trial poised to begin

With Donald Trump's Manhattan trial related to paying off adult film star Stormy Daniels set to commence on Monday, close aides to the former president are both happy that he will be able to use the media attention to rally his supporters but also stressed that daily doses of the former president complaining about the proceedings will further alienate independent voters he desperately needs.

According to a report from CNN, the former president must be in attendance in the courtroom which will limit him to campaigning on Wednesdays and weekends as he makes his third run for the Oval Office.

As the report notes, the former president will be staying at his Trump Tower during the duration of the trial, making it hard to hit the road for an extended period of time, which will limit him to close-by day trips along with speeches before and after court appearances.

That has some Trump world insiders anxious.

“The court appearances] certainly helped galvanize a big part of the debate. His appearance in court helps with messaging, it helps with fundraising and helps with getting people out to vote and volunteer for us,” one Trump adviser explained with others worrying about "uncharted territory" quite different from the time during the primaries.

When it comes to persuadable independent voters, a senior adviser fretted, "There’s always a concern about Trump fatigue."

Add to that, there are growing worries about the composition of the jury in Manhattan where the former president is far from popular.

"One source close to Trump argued that there is worry that some prospective jurors may have ulterior motives for wanting to be involved in the former president’s trial," explaining, "Some may want a book deal or the clout that comes with being associated with this," CNN is reporting.

Pro-Trump media landscape 'utterly collapsing' compared to last election cycle: report

In the run-up to the 2016 presidential election, a slew of far-right websites popped up and cashed in on content propping up then-candidate Donald Trump. And those sites continued to rake in millions of dollars during Trump's time in the White House. But since 2020, the right-wing media cash spigot has effectively slowed to a trickle.

A new report in the Atlantic found that since the 2020 election cycle, the most prominent pro-Trump websites have seen their once robust traffic dry up. Writer Paul Farhi analyzed data from media analysis website The Righting, which focuses on conservative publishers, and reported that of the 10 most popular right-wing websites, traffic was down by an average of roughly 40%.

Trump is barrelling towards the 'worst day in his public life': former prosecutor

During an appearance on MSNBC on Saturday morning, former federal prosecutor Paul Butler bluntly stated that the moment Donald Trump steps into a Manhattan courtroom on Monday, it will commence the "worst day of his life" as he faces 34 felony counts that could lead to four years in jail.

Speaking with fill-in host Charles Coleman Jr., Butler explained that for the first time in his life, the former president's actions have led to a moment in life where he faces very real consequences that could impact his freedom.

Speaking with the host, he stated, "On Monday, something historical will happen. It will be the first day in Donald Trump's life that he is beginning to be brought to judgment in a criminal case for his own alleged corruption."

"As you noted, his lawyers have filed nine different motions to delay the trial with Judge Juan Merchan. They're trying to get around the law that they can't appeal until after the trial, that is what the Article 78 motion was about," he explained. " And the reason for that, Charles, is that Trump's defense is delay. But when he is actually brought to judgment, when his cases are heard on the merits, he loses all the time."

Busted: GOP candidate running on rural roots grew up 'three miles from a Trader Joe's'

Businessman Tim Sheehy, who is running for US Senate in Montana, has been hyping his rural connections to voters on the campaign trail. But a new report suggests Sheehy is actually a product of suburbia.

Farm life is a mainstay of Montana. US Census records show that the Big Sky State has the nation's fifth largest concentration of rural residents (behind Vermont, Maine, West Virginia and Mississippi), with 46.6% of its residents living in remote areas. Incumbent Sen. Jon Tester (D-Montana), who is running for a fourth term this November, is a bona fide lifelong rancher who lost several fingers in a farming accident as a child. So Sheehy has been trying to persuade voters of his rural credentials, saying in a 2023 interview that he "grew up in an old farmstead... surrounded by farmland."

Former Trump lawyer blows a hole in ex-president's plan to testify at hush money trial

Donald Trump's boast that he would be more than willing to testify at his upcoming hush money trial was greeted by a great deal of skepticism by one of his former lawyers on Saturday morning.

During an extended interview on MSNBC's "The Weekend," former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen blew a hole in the idea that it would be a good thing for the former president to take the stand as he faces 34 felony counts related to paying off adult film star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election.

Speaking with the hosts, Cohen pointed out the simple fact that Trump is never a good witness when put under oath, but admitted he would enjoy it if the former president made good on his promise.

"First of all, he has to be there as a criminal defendant — he has to be there that is part of the process," he began. "But, the likelihood of Donald Trump being on the stand is equal to the likelihood of me waking up tomorrow 7'6" and playing center for the New York Knicks, it is not going to happen."

"How many times have we heard the same story again and again and again that, you know, ''I want to testify. Absolutely I'm going to. I'm going to tell the truth,'" he elaborated. "The one thing that, you know, every time Donald opens his mouth, you know that something non-truthful is coming out of it."

"We also know that he's not a good defendant, he's not a good witness," he continued. "We watched that with the E. Jean Carroll case, where he couldn't even identify E. Jean Carroll. and confused her with Marla Maples."

"He's not a good witness, he's not going to take the stand," he re-emphasized. "I hope that I'm wrong because I think that would be classic for America to be able to see Donald Trump on the witness stand trying to defend himself in a case that is indefensible."

'He's not even clear on what he's doing': New Trump stumble draws mental acuity concerns

Donald Trump's efforts to derail an extension of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) authority has drawn more concerns that he either doesn't know what he is talking about or he has grown more confused as he ages.

During a panel discussion on MSNBC's "The Weekend," co-host Symone Sanders-Townsend kicked off the conversation by noting that the former president used his Truth Social platform to rail against a provision of FISA and botched what he was opposing.

That led co-host Alicia Menendez to jump in and state, "He's trying to make this election about Joe Biden's mental acuity when in reality it is Donald Trump who continues to get confused about things."

Displaying comments the former president made on social media, she continued, "So, 2018, he brags; 'Just signed the 702 Bill to reauthorize foreign intelligence collection. This is NOT the same FISA law that was so wrongly abused during the election.' "

"Then on Wednesday he writes: 'Kill FISA, it was used against me and others to spy on the campaign,'" she added.

"We have Fox News pointing out he confused section 702 with Title 1," she elaborated. "I mean, he's not even clear on what he's doing."

"He doesn't know," co-host Michael Steele interjected.

"He has no idea what he's talking about," former Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL) pointed out.

'Not going to be able to sleep tonight': Truth Social boosters panicking as stock plummets

With the value of stock in Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) continuing its unceasing slide downward since the technology company went public, supporters of Donald Trump who profess to have invested in the company are increasingly expressing dismay about the collapse on the former president's Truth Social platform.

According to a report from the Daily Beast's Noah Kirsch, faith in the troubled company that was reported to have lost millions last year right after the public offering, is in short supply at the same time the former president was telling supporters at Mar-a-Lago that all is well, stating: "We have over $200 million dollars in cash, which is very liquid.”

Those not in attendance at the Mar-a-Lago gathering appear to be less than assured.

On Truth Social, the main product of TMTG, commenters are commiserating with each other as they watch the stock spiral downward, losing over half its value in just several weeks,

According to the Beast's Kirsch, one commenter lamented on Thursday, "Man I really thought we were gonna see a jump today. Especially after that party last night. There is always tomorrow,” while another added, "Doesn’t it seem strange that the price goes down steadily every day? Haven’t seen a green day for a while.”

Hearing about the Mar-a-Lago gathering where the former president attempted to assure insiders, another commenter wrote, "I think there is something coming very soon, and they are all excited about it. Something they worked very hard to make happen. A milestone for the team."

According to Kirsch, "Some Truth Social users blame the mainstream press for 'spreading lies' about the company, as one person framed it. And despite nerves about the stock’s downward slide, many of them have pledged to keep buying shares."

One Truth Social user claimed, "Just sat down with my broker yesterday and am having him move $10,000 of my Roth IRA, that we had sitting idle for kind of like an extra ‘emergency fund’, into $DJT stocks! This is the only time I would hope for the price to drop so I can get as many shares as possible!”

Another was not so effusive and admitted, "Not going to be able to sleep tonight. If you stick it out I believe you will be rewarded greatly. I believe God directed me here.”

'Horrible witness': Cohen says Trump taking stand in trial would be 'perjury trap'

Michael Cohen used to be the personal attorney and longtime "fixer" for former President Donald Trump. But next week, he'll be the star witness in his former employer's first criminal trial.

Jury selection will begin on Monday for Trump's trial in Manhattan, where the 45th president of the United States has been indicted on 34 felony counts. District Attorney Alvin Bragg has accused Trump of falsifying business records regarding payments to women in exchange for their silence prior to Election Day in 2016. The former president previously said he intended to take the stand in his own defense during trial proceedings, but in a recent interview with Politico, Cohen said that his lawyers would likely prevent him from doing so.
