Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) tore into Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem for her latest photo op in Israel.

As Noem was posing for cameras at the Western Wall in Jerusalem on Sunday, MSNBC's Alex Witt asked Crockett if she expected the Trump official to accomplish anything while in the country.

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) sounded the alarm about problems plaguing billionaire Elon Musk's X social media network.

In a post on Sunday, Lee expressed his frustration with Musk's platform.

During an appearance on MSNBC on Sunday morning, former Democratic National Committee Chair and Jamie Harrison disputed comments attributed to him in CNN host Jake Tapper and Axios reporter Alex Thompson's controversial book about former President Joe Biden.

After discussing the internal warfare currently in play within the DNC, "The Weekend" co-host Eugene Daniels asked Harrison about the book "Original Sin," and noted that Thompson appeared on the show on Saturday.

That was when the ex-DNC chair went off.

"It says that you had an interaction with President Biden where he didn't recognize you and you said to some other Democrat that wasn't good, right? I heard that you said this didn't happen, so did it happen or not?" Daniels prompted his guest.

"It was a bald-faced lie," Harrison shot back. "I don't know where the hell they got that from and I've told that to Alex. That is a bald-faced lie, and it frankly is pissing me off, excuse my language, that they continue to push it and say it."

"I have told them –– you know, unless I need to get a cognitive test, and I just totally forget all these things, but I'm, you know, I'm 49, but maybe I'll go to my doctor and get a check-up," he continued. "So for me it provides me all of what I need to know about what this book is about."

"I've seen similar with [Biden adviser] Jake Sullivan saying that the situation that they talk about him did not happen.," he added before recalling, "I know in terms of the [George] Clooney situation, I mean, there are some things that I can also share about that Clooney situation. You know, that part where they show Barack Obama holding on to Joe Biden's arm and leading him off right in front of us? I went to my wife when I saw that that or heard about that in the book, and I said, 'Wasn't that where those three young, it was three young white men who was standing up yelling at Joe Biden about Palestine."

"They were protesting right up front, and he was trying to listen to what they were saying and Obama grabbed his arm and pulled him away," he added. "My wife said, 'Yeah, I remember that, we were sitting right there in the audience.'"

"But that book lost all credibility when they put my name in it for something that did not happen," he accused. "And then they continue to double down on that particular story."

The Supreme Court's increasing use of the so-called "shadow docket" to issue quickie rulings mostly in Donald Trump's favor was on the receiving end of a smack-down on MSNBC on Sunday morning.

With legal expert Melissa Murray explaining the maneuver is normally something that is used for case management, Slate legal analyst Dahlia Lithwick noted that the spare rulings, shorn of detailed legal explanations and citations, is currently giving Trump free rein to do as he pleases -- without justification or reasoning..

"Maybe a good way to think about it is through the lens of this legitimacy question, this court's legitimacy question that we've been talking about for years now, and the sort of plummeting public trust in the court," she began. "Well, what is the single most essential thing that a judicial body can do to instill in the public the sense that this is a lawyerly, sober fact-backed business."

"The opinion is the single most important thing, because that stands, right, as precedent going forward. Not just for credibility for the public, it's guidance for courts in similar cases. 'Oh right, this looks like that, we'll do that thing," she continued. "As Melissa just said, as you just said, that's gone on the shadow docket. There's no argument, there's very spartan briefing, the court below has been leapfrogged so that we don't have a developed record and then you get this kind of back-of-the-envelope reasoning from the justices two, three sentences."

"Sometimes you don't even know how they voted!' she exclaimed. "And for a court that's really grappling with keeping a hold on the public respect and regard to do this kind of sort of slot machine justice on the fly is the worst possible way to say we're a serious entity."

Democratic strategist Lucy Caldwell undermined a Fox News panel criticizing former President Joe Biden by revealing she had recently been diagnosed with cancer.

During Sunday's MediaBuzz program, conservative pundit Clay Travis argued that Biden would have had to step down during his second term because of recently diagnosed prostate cancer.

On Sunday morning, Donald Trump took time off from sharing clips from his West Point commencement speech and attacking Harvard University to share a somewhat embarrassing photo of what he claims to be a friend at Trump National Golf Club in New Jersey.

After complaining about Harvard having a substantial number of foreign students and questioning why he didn't know about that fact, he moved on by sharing a picture of a swan attack at Bedminster that he apparently found humorous.

Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Marty Makary argued that insulin should be withheld from people with diabetes and replaced with "cooking classes."

During a Sunday interview on Fox News, Makary promoted a report from President Donald Trump's Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Commission.

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) continued his war on the "big beautiful" budget bill the GOP-controlled House fashioned at Donald Trump's direction on during an appearance on CNN Sunday morning.

While on CNN's "State of the Union," the Wisconsin Republican told host Jake Tapper there are enough Republicans in the Senate willing to kill the bill presented by House Speaker MIke Johnson (R-LA) unless it undergoes a major re-write.

Along the way, he took a potshot at the face of his own party.

After excitedly detailing the many ways the bill, as it currently stands, will massively add to the national debt, Johnson was asked by host Tapper, "We're almost out of time, but I'm just wondering if you could just give me a number, how many other Republican senators do you think share your concerns and are willing to make work to make major changes to this bill?"

"I think we have enough to stop the process until the president gets serious about spending reduction and reducing the deficit," Johnson shot back.

At the same time that Johnson was on CNN, Sen Rand Paul (R-KY) was making the same case on Fox, telling host Shannon Bream, "Somebody has to stand up and yell, the emperor has no clothes, and everybody's falling in lockstep on this, passed the big, beautiful bill, don't question anything."

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) tore into President Donald Trump's "big, beautiful" budget bill for failing to make significant spending cuts.

In a Sunday interview on Fox News, host Shannon Bream noted that millions could lose access to health care and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) if the Senate passed the bill recently approved by House Republicans.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) downplayed President Donald Trump's "private" dinner with investors who pumped $148 million into his crypto venture.

During a Sunday interview, CNN's Jake Tapper asked Johnson about the president's controversial event.

During an appearance on MSNBC on Sunday morning, the Director of Immigration Studies at the conservative Cato Institute fired back at the White House's Stephen Miller for trying to override the Constitution to snatch up immigrants and ship them out of the country.

Speaking with the hosts of MSNBC's "The Weekend," Cato's David Bier shot down Donald Trump's key adviser's contention that the law, particularly the notion of due process, can't halt his immigrant purge.

"They do know how to do this," he said of the Trump administration. "And ultimately, this time around, they just said, 'No, we're just not going to cooperate with the fundamental process of our constitution.' And they just keep coming back to this point."

"I'll say this again, that Stephen Miller will go on Fox News and they'll say, they elected us to do this –– and that does not matter!' he continued. "Under our Constitution, elections do not change laws. They do not change our Constitution. So they could –– every single person who voted him could have voted for him in order to do this, which is certainly not the case."

"I know many Trump voters who do not support this, but even if it was the case, it didn't change our Constitution," he added. "It did not amend habeas corpus out of the Constitution when Americans voted in November. If you want to do that, you've got to change the Constitution through the proper procedure."
