'It's insane': Expert makes stunning claim about Trump's chat with Zelenskyy

A military expert revealed on Sunday that President Donald Trump is taking an "insane" approach to ending the war in Ukraine.

Trump held another round of peace talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at Mar-a-Lago on Sunday, where the two leaders discussed the current 20-point peace plan that is on the table. Ahead of Trump's chat with Zelenskyy, the president said he had a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin following a night of heavy bombing by Russian forces against Ukrainian civilians.

'Trump is in better shape than most!' MAGA panics over new photos of president's 'decay'

President Donald Trump’s health was called into question Sunday after new photographs revealed additional discoloration on the president’s hands, though the president’s supporters quick to rush to his defense and insist that Trump’s health was unmatched.

Captured by professional photojournalist Andrew Caballero-Reynolds, one of the photos shows Trump with visible discoloration on both hands, whereas previously, Trump had only been seen with prominent discoloration and bruising on his right hand, something the White House said was caused by Trump “shaking hands all day, every day.”

Trump casually lays blame for ‘explosions’ across Russia on Ukraine to Zelenskyy’s face

Standing alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy ahead of their high-stakes meeting Sunday, President Donald Trump casually laid blame for “explosions in various parts of Russia” on Ukraine, presumably including a recent bombing in Moscow that killed two police officers and a bystander.

Standing next to Zelenskyy at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, Trump was asked by a reporter whether he thought President Vladimir Putin was “serious” about ending the Russo-Ukrainian war given the recent Russian attacks on Ukraine.

‘This is historic’: Ex-GOP lawmaker says Republicans barreling toward ‘complete disaster’

Former GOP congressman David Jolly painted a bleak picture for Republicans heading into the 2026 midterm elections during an appearance Sunday on MS NOW, warning that his former party was “heading toward complete disaster” of a “historic” electoral defeat.

“A year is a very long time, things could be very different next year, but where we sit today, Republicans are heading toward a complete disaster, a collapse, a 2006-type blue wave or the inverse of the 1994 red wave,” Jolly said. “I mean, this is historic, and there's a very fundamental reason why.”

'Put them in the witness chair!' Dem lawmaker reveals plan to force Epstein files' release

As the Justice Department continues its phased rollout of releasing Jeffrey Epstein files – a rollout critics say is in blatant violation of the Epstein Files Transparency Act (EFTA) – Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) said Sunday he’s ready to mount an all-out war against the Trump administration to force its hand.

“Every member of the [House] Judiciary Committee – every Republican, every Democrat – voted to release these documents and to have them in our hands yesterday,” Swalwell said during an appearance Sunday on MS NOW. “Not today, not tomorrow, yesterday. They have not done that yet.”

'Way, way down there!' Data guru floored after Trump support among key group plummets

CNN data analyst Harry Enten was left floored Sunday after new polling showed President Donald Trump’s support among independents has plummeted to staggering lows just shy of a year into his second term.

According to the new data, Trump’s net approval rating among independent voters fell by a stunning 42 points from January to December, from -1 to -43, a drop so severe that Enten compared the president to French oceanographer and filmmaker Jacques Cousteau, known for his undersea expeditions.

Legal experts warns 'disingenuous' Supreme Court tactic is 'producing permanent effects'

Georgetown University law professor Stephen Vladeck sounded the alarm this weekend over the Supreme Court and its increasing use of what legal scholars have dubbed the “shadow docket,” a process by which the court institutes rulings unsigned, and without oral arguments, explanations or written opinions.

The Supreme Court has utilized the shadow docket well over a dozen times since President Donald Trump retook the White House in January, at least 14 of which were in cases that tested the president’s power, with the court siding with Trump in the vast majority of its rulings.

'Texas ranks near last!' Sparks fly as Ted Cruz hammered by Dem lawmaker in fiery debate

Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) fired off at Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) late Saturday night in a heated social-media exchange over taxing billionaires, reminding Cruz of how regressive tax policies in his own state have negatively impacted his own constituents.

The spat was sparked after Khanna publicly championed a proposed ballot measure in California that would, if approved by voters next year, impose a one-time 5% tax on the net worth of Californians worth more than $1 billion, payable over five years. The proposal has already sparked fear among billionaires, including pro-Trump billionaire Peter Thiel, who is reportedly considering cutting ties with the Golden State were it to be adopted.

‘Inmates are running the asylum!’ Ex-prosecutor charts path to force DOJ’s hand on Epstein

As the Trump administration faces growing scrutiny over its failure to release files on Jeffrey Epstein with limited redactions – as it's required to by law – former federal prosecutor Kristy Greenberg charted a path Saturday for Democratic lawmakers to force the administration’s hand.

Trump’s Justice Department was hammered last week after failing to comply with the newly enacted Epstein Files Transparency Act, a bill that required the DOJ to release all of its files on Epstein by Dec. 19, and with redactions limited to protecting the identities of victims and minors.

'Too damn bad': Conservative rips 'thin-skinned whiner-in-chief' Trump

Former GOP Communications Director Tara Setmayer whacked President Donald Trump’s 2025 attack on comedians and entertainment as a sign of a weak man on MS NOW’s “The Weekend.”

“He's done [this] from day one,” said Setmayer. “He went after the media, calling them the ‘enemy of the people.’ which was straight out of the dictator playbook that we've seen from the 1930s and 40s with Mussolini and Hitler. This is exactly what strongmen do. And Donald Trump is the most thin-skinned, boring whiner. He is a whiner in chief. He whines constantly about anyone who dares to say anything negative about him, yet he tries to portray that he's this big, tough guy. Really? Because that doesn't sound like someone who is a well-adjusted adult who can handle criticism.”

Trump admin scrambles to explain Kristi Noem’s ‘eyebrow-raising wardrobe choices’

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, despite her bureaucratic role leading the agency, is often seen sporting tactical gear – sometimes holding a firearm – and the Trump administration is doing its best to rationalize what Axios described as her “eyebrow-raising wardrobe choices.”

“[Noem] wears her agency's uniforms to honor the men and women she leads, who wear them daily in the line of duty,” a DHS spokesperson told Axios in its report Saturday.

‘I will miss them’: Pro-Trump billionaire mocked after threatening to move to avoid taxes

A proposed ballot measure in California that would increase taxes on its wealthiest residents has Pro-Trump billionaire Peter Thiel considering cutting ties with the Golden State, and Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) felt compelled to weigh in on the news with a sarcastic quip.

“Peter Thiel is leaving California if we pass a 1% tax on billionaires for 5 years to pay for healthcare for the working class facing steep Medicaid cuts,” Khanna said Friday night in a social media post on X. “I echo what [former President Franklin D. Roosevelt] said with sarcasm of economic royalists when they threatened to leave, ‘I will miss them very much.’”
