Donald Trump on Sunday pushed "authorities" to investigate a fundraising infrastructure for Democrats.

Trump over the weekend took to his own social media network, Truth Social, to hurl allegations at the political action committee for Democrats.

"Hopefully ACTBLUE, the Democrats ILLEGAL SCAM used to raise money, including from not allowed 'foreign contributions,' is being looked at by authorities," Trump wrote. "The Dems only know how to win by CHEATING, something which they do better than any group or party in history." ...

Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, is vowing to file criminal charges against Democratic fundraising machine ActBlue over fraud allegations.

Comer appeared with right-wing podcaster Benny Johnson, who posted to X on Thursday, "Rep. James Comer and the FBI to bring CRIMINAL CHARGES against those behind ActBlue, The Largest Money Laundering Scheme in U.S. history: "We are going forward with our investigation. Their lawyers are leaving… This will be the end of the Democratic Party."

ActBlue is a left-leaning nonprofit organization that says it caters to "small-dollar donors" who want to "transform power structures in our country."...

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) announced her departure from the Democratic Party last December, but the first-term U.S. senator still uses platforms typically utilized by Democrats and progressives to raise money for her 2024 reelection campaign, which has yet to be formally announced.

Sinema’s campaign committee reported raising over $2.1 million in the first three months of 2023, ending March with $10 million on hand. Over $1 million was transferred from the Sinema Leadership Fund, a joint fundraising committee that splits contributions between Sinema’s campaign committee and her leadership PAC, Getting Stuff Done.

The joint fundraising committee’s donation page explicitly states that funds will go in part to Sinema’s 2024 reelection, OpenSecrets found, even though the senator has not officially announced her candidacy. The Wall Street Journal reported last month that an internal presentation suggests Sinema is gearing up to run as an independent. ...
