Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has requested an extension to disclose her personal finances — and do so well after her competitive June 25 primary election.

Boebert, one of the U.S. House’s most high-profile members, was supposed to disclose details about her 2023 finances on Wednesday, including assets, income, debt, royalties and business agreements, such as book deals.

Boebert’s 2023 financial report also could shed light on terms of her messy divorce that was finalized in October....

Adam Frisch, a former Aspen City Council member, has raised more than $7.7 million to run against Boebert in the race for Colorado’s 3rd district, according to Business Insider and Time. Frisch doesn’t expect the cash tap to turn off soon, he told Time.

“I’m confident we're going to report very strong fundraising numbers yet again,” Frisch reportedly said. ...

In 2022, Boebert beat local businessman Adam Frisch by a mere 546 votes, but Frisch — who is angling for a rematch — continues to lap her in fundraising for the 2024 cycle.

With a haul of more than $2.6 million for the second quarter, Frisch raked in more than three times Boebert’s roughly $818,000, which she says is because Democrats want to “buy this seat.”...
