'Barred access': Gabbard revokes security clearance for prominent officials and lawyers

Tulsi Gabbard, Trump's director of national intelligence, announced Monday that she barred prominent government officials and attorneys from access to classified government information.

Gabbard posted to X that she did so at the directive of President Donald Trump, who announced his intention to revoke access to his "antagonists" last month, according to the New York Post.

"Per @POTUS directive, I have revoked security clearances and barred access to classified information for Antony Blinken, Jake Sullivan, Lisa Monaco, Mark Zaid, Norman Eisen, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, and Andrew Weissman, along with the 51 signers of the Hunter Biden 'disinformation' letter. The President's Daily Brief is no longer being provided to former President Biden," Gabbard wrote....

'The brief is devastating': Legal expert says hush money D.A. just shredded Trump's case

President Barack Obama's former ethics czar had one word to describe the legal check Donald Trump received Thursday in his criminal hush money conviction appeal: "Devastating."

Norm Eisen, now a legal analyst for CNN, argued on X that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's response delivered a potentially fatal blow to Trump's appeal of his criminal conviction.

"This matters even more now that the election is about a prosecutor vs. a perpetrator," Eisen wrote. "And the DA brief is DEVASTATING."...

Trump DA Alvin Bragg celebrates as Jim Jordan fumes over YouTube's gun mod crackdown

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has already enraged House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) for successfully convicting former President Donald Trump on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.

Now, Jordan is furious at Bragg for another reason: his purported involvement in getting instructional videos on how to make illegal gun modifications yanked off YouTube — and Bragg is celebrating his victory.

According to The Daily Beast, "Last week, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee sent the site’s parent company a letter demanding to know the story behind YouTube’s recent decision to block videos that provide such content. Jordan’s letter is a legal request for Alphabet’s communications regarding its 'interactions with the executive branch and other entities regarding changes to its firearms content policy.' It also called out Bragg by name, given that the prominent prosecutor publicly pressured YouTube in April over his concerns about the proliferation of how-to videos of 'ghost guns,' homemade firearms that aren’t stamped with a serial number and are virtually untraceable."...

Trump prosecutor Alvin Bragg target of death threats and racial slurs: report

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has been the target of death threats and racist messages since former President Donald Trump was convicted of 34 felony counts earlier this month in his hush money case.

That's according to a new report published Thursday in the New York Daily News, which said it obtained more than 100 abusive messages aimed at Bragg via his campaign website. The messages contained racial epithets such as the n-word and racist slurs such as “Savage […] primate, F---ing […] rapist” and “GORILLA," the report said.

The racist vitriol was sent through a signup form and have been forwarded to Bragg's security team, according to the report, which cited a source who wanted to remain anonymous....

Alvin Bragg has 'devastating' evidence to knock out Trump's last-minute challenges: Expert

While former President Donald Trump has already been convicted on 34 counts of falsifying business records in the Manhattan hush money case, he has one more card to play: submitting a motion asking Judge Juan Merchan to "set aside" the verdict, a maneuver used to try to convince judges that the jury's decision to convict was so egregious it should be disregarded.

But District Attorney Alvin Bragg came prepared to shut that down, legal expert Lisa Rubin explained in a new article for MSNBC's MaddowBlog.

This comes as House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) prepares for a congressional hearing with former Justice Department official and Manhattan prosecutor Matthew Colangelo for immediately after Trump's sentencing. Trump's allies have theorized that Colangelo was a sort of backchannel from Bragg's office to the Justice Department, allowing President Joe Biden to dictate the outcome of the trial — but the DOJ has rebuffed the idea....

Trump prosecutor Alvin Bragg issues response to Jim Jordan's testimony request

Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg answered Rep. Jim Jordan's (R-OH) request to come to Washington and testify before Congress. And for now it is a strong maybe.

Days after declaring that the jurors "have spoken" when they rendered a unanimous guilty verdict of all 34 counts of falsifying business records against Donald Trump, Bragg responded to the Judiciary Committee Chairman's formal request.

Leslie Dubeck, counsel for Bragg, wrote in a letter that there is a willingness to appear. ...
