'Please, don't': Jewish hate expert not impressed as Pam Bondi attacks antisemitism

The founder of the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism name-checked attorney general Pam Bondi on CNN Thursday for pledging to do everything the Trump administration can to stop anti-Jewish violence.

Bondi appeared on Fox News, where she lamented the deaths of two young people outside of a Jewish museum in Washington, D.C. Wednesday night by a man who shouted "Free Palestine" when he was arrested.

"No parents should have to be called and told their children were violently murdered leaving a religious event at the Jewish Museum. That should never happen in this world and not in our country. And this person will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law," Bondi said. "We will ensure everyone, America will be safe. We will do everything we can. This violence has to stop." ...

'Significant moment': Report claims Columbia Uni close to giving in to Trump $400M threat

Columbia University could be close to giving in to President Donald Trump's demand that it enact certain measures aimed to combat anti-semitism on campus or lose $400 million in federal funding, according to reporting in The Wall Street Journal.

The Trump administration canceled funding earlier this month, but granted the university a "review period" and a deadline of Thursday to agree to a list of nine demands.

The demands include "banning masks, empowering campus cops and putting the school’s department of Middle East, South Asian and African Studies under 'academic receivership,' which means it would no longer be controlled by the faculty," wrote reporters Douglas Belkin and Liz Essley Whyte....

'Nothing can compare': Dem strategist calls out GOP insider over Republican anti-Semitism

Two opposing political analysts bickered on CNN Sunday, fighting over whether Democrats or Republicans had a bigger problem with anti-Semitism.

Republican insider Scott Jennings brought up the topic while suggesting that Vice President Kamala Harris choose Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro to be her Vice Presidential nominee. He said that, in doing so, Harris would be standing up against the anti-Semites in her party.

But Democratic strategist Julie Roginsky didn't let that comment slide, instead choosing to point to Donald Trump's own actions....

'Literal neo-Nazis': GOP lawmaker accused of making anti-Semitic comment about reporter

Rep. Mike Collins (R-GA) appears to be in deep trouble after a comment he made on social media on Sunday.

Collins, who caused a blowup on the social media site X in February following a post in which he suggested immigrants should be given rides on "Pinochet Air," responded to a post from what one reporter deemed an anti-Semitic account.

The right-wing New York Post promoted an article suggesting that a Washington Post reporter said "shoplifting not a big deal because US built on 'stolen land.'" An account by the name of "Garbage Human" shared that article, adding, "In case you were wondering, yes she is."...

Former pro women's soccer player flashes Nazi salute at pro-Israel rally

A former National Women's Soccer League player was caught on video giving what appeared to be a Nazi salute while driving past a pro-Israel rally in Beverly Hills, California, TMZ reported.

Stefany Ferrer Van Ginkel played for Angel City FC in 2022. In the video, she can be seen giving the salute while in the passenger seat of a car that was driven by another former pro soccer player, Samim Haydari. After she gives the salute, people off camera can be heard saying, "Shame on you."

After the video circulated social media, Angel City FC released a statement saying, "Stefany Ferrer Van Ginkel (stefvangi21) does not play for Angel City Football Club, nor has she been affiliated with the club since November 2022. We condemn her recent actions and statements."...
