An online battle broke out Thursday between right-wing influencers and MAGA conspiracist Candace Owens.

Owens, who has been vocal about alternative theories behind Charlie Kirk's killing while the trial was underway for the Tyler Robinson, the suspect accused of killing the Trump ally, fired off a post on X attacking Ben Shapiro and Turning Point USA spokesperson Andrew Kolvet.

"This your daily reminder that Charlie Kirk always hated Ben Shapiro— he thought he was an Israel-First Jew supremacist. And for years, Andrew Kolvet pretended to hate Ben too until the moment Charlie died. Andrew Kolvet encompasses the spirit of Judas."...

A major right-wing podcast host slammed the MAGA network where she used to have a show while weighing in on its brutal decline.

The Daily Wire has become the kind of media outfit that its founders "claimed they were getting into the business to fight," far-right podcaster Candace Owens told The Washington Post in a Saturday article about her former employer's fall.

Owens said that founder Ben Shapiro's message on The Daily Wire has basically been, "lecture, lecture, lecture, lecture, everyone's terrible but me," she told The Post. "And people just don't want to see it. That's not interesting. I don't want to be lectured every day." ...

Piers Morgan had a sharp response to MAGA influencer Ben Shapiro and his claims about the host on Monday.

In an episode of "Piers Morgan Uncensored," Morgan responded to Shapiro's comments after Morgan hosted comedian and political commentator Dave Smith, who took a few swipes at both Morgan and his guest.

"Apparently his job is never to tell jokes but to instead give poorly informed foreign policy takes, but also to hate America," Shapiro said. ...

A CNN analyst on Monday described how Vice President JD Vance dropped the ball during his address at the Turning Point USA event this weekend, an event billed as the MAGA "Super Bowl."

Vance was speaking at the right-wing group's AmericaFest and had the opportunity to denounce MAGA influencers who are anti-semitic or racist — and that he missed the mark, said CNN analyst Kate Bedingfield, former White House communications director under the Biden administration.

Vance has signaled a potential 2028 presidential run — possibly with Secretary of State Marco Rubio as a running mate — which Trump has said would have his full support. During the MAGA event this weekend, Charlie Kirk's widow, Erika Kirk, noted that the conservative group would endorse Vance in the upcoming presidential election....

MAGA influencer Ben Shapiro criticized Tucker Carlson, calling him a "terrible friend," "intellectual coward," and “dishonest interlocutor,” as a MAGA feud heats up over the podcast host's decision to interview self-described white nationalist Nick Fuentes.

In his show on Monday, called “Tucker Carlson Sabotages America,” Shapiro said his friendship with the former Fox News anchor was over. He referred to how Tucker "decided that it was important not only to host 27-year-old Fuentes, but smooth over his views, water them down and make them far more palatable to a normal audience," The Daily Beast reports.

Shapiro shared clips from Fuentes and his shocking comments, including “a lot of women want to be raped" or that women shouldn't be in politics. He called Fuentes a "Hitler admirer" and "Holocaust denier," who spoke in favor of Jim Crow laws, saying the racist policies were "better for us."...

TV host Bill Maher shut down noted right-wing commentator Ben Shapiro with a comment about how news is spread in connection with the shooting death of fellow conservative Charlie Kirk.

It started with Shapiro saying we "know" that the suspected shooter, Tyler Robinson, was "of the political left." Shapiro cited a report from the Guardian, which was later partly retracted.

"How are you so sure?" Maher asks Shapiro as Maher explains various examples of initial reports that later fell flat. Maher then brought up other reports that Robinson could be right-wing, and Shapiro was stopped in his tracks before admitting that was a possibility, too....
