Al Gore says he and a business partner tried unsuccessfully to buy the social media network Twitter.

In an interview Friday with Bloomberg TV's Political Capital with Al Hunt, former Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA) estimated that the tradewinds of the Republican Party are beginning to blow in his favor, and could even knock a couple of his opponents right out of the race in a matter of days.

Speaking to a reporter with Bloomberg TV on Monday, billionaire investor Warren Buffett upped his challenge to congressional Republicans and even managed to work in a slap at presidential candidate Mitt Romney, saying that he would donate 15 percent of his annual income if just 10 percent of the Congress would do the same.
