Reacting to testimony given to Congress by FBI Director Christopher Wray that has raised questions over whether Donald Trump's ear was wounded by a bullet of possibly glass fragments, the former president flipped out on his Truth Social platform late Thursday night.

With Wray in a televised testimony telling lawmakers this week "I think with respect to former President Trump there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that, you know, hit his ear,” new questions about the assassination attempt have been raised, which appears to have infuriated Trump who has seen the story eclipsed following the ascension of Vice President Kamala Harris as his 2024 opponent.

On Truth Social, he insisted he was hit by a bullet, and "hit hard."

He wrote, "FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress yesterday that he wasn’t sure if I was hit by shrapnel, glass, or a bullet (the FBI never even checked!), but he was sure that Crooked Joe Biden was physically and cognitively 'uneventful' - Wrong!"

He added, "That’s why he knows nothing about the terrorists and other criminals pouring into our Country at record levels. His only focus is destroying J6 Patriots, Raiding Mar-a-Lago, and saving Radical Left Lunatics, like the ones now in D.C. burning American flags and spray painting over our great National Monuments - with zero retribution."...

The controversial former doctor who examined Donald Trump after the recent assassination attempt is lashing out at the FBI director who raised questions about whether the ex-president was actually struck by a bullet — or shrapnel.

Ronny Jackson, a Texas GOP lawmaker who once served as White House doctor under Trump and Barack Obama, recently released a letter in which he claims to explain away some of the questions about Trump's health after purportedly being shot. It was met with mockery because Jackson had previously been accused of running a "pill mill" in the White House.

"The bullet passed, coming less than a quarter of an inch from entering his head, and struck the top of his right ear. The bullet track produced a 2 cm wide wound that extended down to the cartilaginous surface of the ear," the letter says. "There was initially significant bleeding, followed by marked swelling of the entire upper ear." ...

Donald Trump is in hostile territory on Saturday, as someone in the crowd yelled that the former president "should have taken a bullet" before the speech even began.

Trump is soon scheduled to come on stage at the Libertarian National Convention in Washington, D.C. Raw Story reported that Libertarian delegates have been booing Trump when his name was mentioned, and that there is a pending "emergency" meeting to potentially cancel the event.

As the night's program began, someone affiliated with the Libertarian Party began asking people to remain civil despite differences with the former president. ...
