The US Supreme Court on Friday declined to block the prosecution of Canadian Omar Khadr, the last Western detainee at Guantanamo Bay, whose war crimes trial is set to open August 10.
WASHINGTON  The US Supreme Court Monday refused to hear an appeal brought by a Canadian-Syrian who was wrongly arrested in the US in 2002 and expelled to Syria where he was held and tortured for a year.
