(Reuters) - Yahoo is poised to name PayPal President Scott Thompson as chief executive after firing former CEO Carol Bartz in September, website AllThingsD reported, citing sources close to the situation.
The chief technology officer of the data security firm HBGary described the collective of hacktivists named 'Anonymous' as a small group of criminal hackers who "use the media as a tool."
