Ex-Fox News host unloads on Trump over 'most outrageously corrupt situation' ever

A former Fox News host unloaded on President Donald Trump over his family's surging wealth, calling it corruption unlike anything the country has seen.

Geraldo Rivera made the remarks Saturday during a panel discussion with CNN host Abby Phillip, arguing that Trump is "unapologetic" about the money his relatives have pulled in since he returned to the White House.

"He thinks that as long as it's not illegal, let the good times roll," Rivera said....

MS NOW anchor reveals 'most shocking' Trump headline as he crosses line 'you cannot cross'

MS NOW host Katy Tur on Friday described the single headline that has left her stunned while covering President Donald Trump's second administration.

Tur had asked her audience for questions on social media. She heard from a viewer this question, which she read on air: "What is the most shocking headline I've seen since Donald Trump came back into power?"

Tur's response pointed to a significant question surrounding Trump since his return to the White House....

'Breathtaking': New danger posed by Trump makes James Carville rethink his famous phrase

James Carville confessed he's rethinking his most famous phrase because of a new threat posed by Trump.

During an episode of Politics War Room, Carville revisited his 1992 quote, "It's the economy, stupid," which he coined during the Bill Clinton campaign to hammer home what issue mattered the most. However, Carville said he now regrets the phrase because the economy doesn't matter anymore in the face of Trump's corruption.

"I now have come to detest the fact I said that," Carville said. "I listen to people say, 'People don't care about corruption. They care about the economy. As long as their incomes are up, they really don't care what [Trump] does.'"...

James Carville shares startling warning about Trump corruption: 'Just getting warmed up'

Democratic political strategist James Carville warned that more stories about corruption by the Trump administration are coming, even as the topic is already becoming more prominent.

"We're just getting warmed up on these corruption issues," Carville said on the latest episode of his show, Politics War Room. Plenty of stories are already front and center for people alarmed about corruption in the Trump administration, chiefly the anti-weaponization fund.

Carville was answering questions from viewers, including one about whether Trump will get better or worse. He said that Trump getting worse is "99.996 percent more likely," especially when it comes to stories about his corruption....

Ex-GOP operative alarmed as Trump's 'mind-boggling corruption' becomes 'open fire hydrant'

A former Republican political operative ripped the new level of corruption that Trump has reached with a "MAGA Congress" backing him all the way.

"There are no examples of corruption that are even in the same galaxy as this," Steve Schmidt said in an episode of his podcast. "It is truly, truly incredible, mind-boggling, and yet it rolls on, and it will continue to do so until there's a Democratic Congress that makes it stop."

Schmidt spoke about how Trump created a $1.8 billion "slush fund" with a lawsuit settlement against the IRS, noting that Trump's former personal attorney, Todd Blanche, signed the agreement creating the fund and saying it will "reward" Jan. 6 rioters....

Key Trump campaign promise is now the 'punchline to a sad joke': analysis

With President Donald Trump’s massive corruption pulling down billions of dollars for himself and his family, MS NOW producer Steve Benen says it’s easy to forget that Trump originally campaigned on “draining the swamp.”

“As laughable as it might seem in hindsight, Donald Trump told voters that he saw the political establishment as a corrupt cesspool that he’d clean up in ruthless fashion,” Benen said. “… A decade later, amid frequent allegations of White House corruption and reports that the president is profiting from his office in unprecedented ways, that vow has become the punch line to a sad joke. And it’s striking to see the problem spreading in systemic ways as the first year of the Republican’s second term comes to an end.”

The New York Times released a recent report on nearly $2 billion Trump and his allies raised since Trump won his second term. Benen called this “a staggering sum for an incumbent who can’t run for reelection,” which the Times wrote “hints at a level of transactionalism for which it is difficult to find obvious comparisons in modern American history.”...
