Specifically, Trump is pushing back on report that showed video of people getting up and leaving as the former president was still on stage speaking. People were starting to "trickle out" of Donald Trump's Pennsylvania rally while he was still speaking on Saturday, leaving more "empty seats," according to a campaign reporter for USA Today.

A "deeply uncomfortable" CNN panel busted out laughing early Friday morning as one Democratic strategist said Donald Trump's obsession with crowd sizes is an indication that he is "insecure" about something.

People were apparently paid to attend Donald Trump's rally in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sunday, according to Tennessee Democratic election commissioner Chris D. Jackson, although it's not clear who did the paying.

Jackson, who criticized Hungary's autocratic leader, Viktor Orbán, for endorsing the ex-president, took to social media over the weekend to draw attention to a Craigslist post appearing to offer payment for attendance at the MAGA event.

Donald Trump on Saturday opted to do a "telerally" Iowa event because of bad weather, but some have pointed out the event's rather lackluster appearance.

Trump, who has said he believes the bad weather will work to his benefit because of his fans' rabid disposition, appeared at the event alongside Iowa's attorney general, Brenna Bird. Here is the description of the event from the New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman:

"Trump canceled two events, including a Sioux City in frozen-over Iowa scheduled for tonight. In last several hours the campaign put together a moderated, flag-draped event in Des Moines with Trump seated in a chair flanked by supporters, airing on a livestream."...

Former President Donald Trump's rally in Iowa didn't draw the sort of crowd he may have hoped for, reported New York Magazine's Olivia Nuzzi on Wednesday.

"Although supporters stood in the rain for hours to enter, Trump’s rally in Dubuque is not as well attended as past rallies have been," Nuzzi posted on X. "The venue can hold 3,000 people. From my vantage point in the back, accounting for the large press area, I would guess the room is about half full."
