People were apparently paid to attend Donald Trump's rally in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sunday, according to Tennessee Democratic election commissioner Chris D. Jackson, although it's not clear who did the paying.

Jackson, who criticized Hungary's autocratic leader, Viktor Orbán, for endorsing the ex-president, took to social media over the weekend to draw attention to a Craigslist post appearing to offer payment for attendance at the MAGA event.

"BREAKING: Trump Caught Paying People to Attend Rally," the official reported. "A Craigslist ad has been found offering payment for people to attend Trump's rally in Las Vegas today." ...

Donald Trump's niece says that she's able to predict the ex-president's next "trigger" because she knows him so well.

Specifically, Mary Trump was referring to reports that, recently, the former president's rallies have lacked the vigor that they had in the past. She also pointed to Trump reportedly having "empty seats all over the arena."

"Donald isn’t going to like this," Mary Trump said Wednesday. "As he tries to grapple with Nikki Haley’s stronger-than-expected showing in New Hampshire, Donald’s campaign has a new problem: shrinking crowd sizes."...

Donald Trump on Saturday opted to do a "telerally" Iowa event because of bad weather, but some have pointed out the event's rather lackluster appearance.

Trump, who has said he believes the bad weather will work to his benefit because of his fans' rabid disposition, appeared at the event alongside Iowa's attorney general, Brenna Bird. Here is the description of the event from the New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman:

"Trump canceled two events, including a Sioux City in frozen-over Iowa scheduled for tonight. In last several hours the campaign put together a moderated, flag-draped event in Des Moines with Trump seated in a chair flanked by supporters, airing on a livestream."...
