Sean 'Diddy' Combs sentenced as judge slams 'disgusting' behavior

A judge has sentenced Sean "Diddy" Combs to 50 months in prison, roughly four years, in the case involving sex workers, violence and “freak-offs.”

U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian on Friday issued the sentence for the former music mogul, calling his behavior “disgusting, shameful,” and “sick," The Associated Press reports. Combs was convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of the more serious charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.

The judge also expressed doubt that these crimes would not be committed again if Combs were released. She has denied his bail twice....

Marjorie Taylor Greene says 'Diddy' verdict means Hunter Biden should go to jail

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) reacted to a partial guilty verdict against Sean "Diddy" Combs by insisting that Hunter Biden should be prosecuted for the same crimes.

After the musician was found guilty of prostitution-related offenses based on the Mann Act, former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) suggested that Combs was targeted because he was Black.

"Diddy has spent nearly 10 months in jail for two Mann Act violations," Gaetz said in a Wednesday promotion for his television show. "We explore the origins of the Mann Act and how it has been used against famous Black people since its inception more than 100 years ago."...

Sean Combs poised to make 'bad tactical decision' that 'could sink him': expert

Sean "Diddy" Combs is virtually guaranteed to take the stand to defend himself against sex-trafficking and racketeering conspiracy charges, according to his attorney, but legal experts say that carries profound risk.

The music mogul's defense team was unsuccessful in getting the judge to declared a mistrial over an arson investigator’s testimony about fingerprint evidence in the firebombing of rapper Kid Kudi's car, and CNN's Audie Cornish asked former federal prosecutor Alyse Adamson about the likelihood that he would testify.

"I honestly don't know, and I'm saying this because he's in so much legal peril that putting him on the stand, in my opinion, would be probably a bad tactical decision," Adamson said, "because the government has so much information that they can go and cross [examine] him on if he doesn't come [across] as credible."...

Sean 'Diddy' Combs apologizes after video shows him assaulting partner

NEW YORK — Rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs apologized on Sunday after surveillance video surfaced showing him physically assaulting his then-girlfriend Casandra Ventura in 2016.

Combs is the target of several civil lawsuits that characterize him as a violent sexual predator who used alcohol and drugs to subdue his victims, and his homes were raided this year by federal agents.

Disturbing footage published Friday shows Combs attacking Ventura — a singer and model also known simply as Cassie — corroborating allegations she made in a now-settled lawsuit late last year....
