Anyone remember way back in the dusky mists of last month when National Review writer Ed Whelan outed an anonymous blogger because said blogger criticized him? Well, now, an anonymous blogger at the National Review who is also an LA cop has advocated shooting people who assert their Fourth Amendment rights.

By now, you've likely heard that National Review personality Ed Whelan outed Obsidian Wings' Publius over the weekend. The rationale that Whelan cited for the outing was that Publius' posts were "irresponsible", "irresponsible" apparently being an Old English word meaning "me no likey".

My guess? Overturning Marbury v. Madison. Ed Whelan spends a rather significant portion of his (limited) mental energy railing against the ideas that a.) times change (THEY DO NOT, he says on a five-pound laptop computer connected to the Internet) and b.) that judges talk funny.
