PHILADELPHIA — Mütter Museum curator Anna N. Dhody opened a package Tuesday morning that arrived at the museum by mail. Inside was a glass jar containing two preserved fetuses, and a letter from someone claiming to be a retired physician who wanted to make a donation. “I saw the letter and was like, ‘Oh no, no no, I have to make a few calls,’” said Dhody, who promptly called the police. “This is not normal procedure.” The package was addressed to Dhody, but did not have a return address. Migrant brawl with NYPD at Times Square shelter points to increasing anger, despair

NEW YORK — The brazen attack on New York City Police Department officers by a group of migrants outside a Times Square shelter prompted an immediate — and strong — backlash. The attack became a lightning rod for criticism over the already-polarizing migrant crisis in New York City, with calls for the migrants involved to be deported. Authorities are investigating a potential homicide after a human head was found in a freezer at a newly sold Colorado home. Mesa County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a suspicious incident report around 2:30 p.m. last Friday at a property in Grand Junction, just east of the Utah state line. The homeowners, who had recently bought the house, found a bag with possible human remains in it in a chest freezer. Authorities later confirmed it was a human head. The new owners were cleaning up around the property and included the freezer in an online “free stuff” listing. The head was found aft......

In addition to the 55-month sentence, Chrestman, 50, also must pay $2,000 restitution for damage to the Capitol, which the government says totaled more than $2.9 million. “I’m pretty ashamed of myself,” Chrestman said as he stood before Judge Timothy J.
