Elon Musk lampooned with giant inflatable effigy in the middle of Times Square: reports

Billionaire tech giant Elon Musk was mocked with a giant, unflattering inflatable doll in the middle of New York City's Times Square, according to multiple reports.

The 40-foot effigy had "SPACEX's GROK MAKES AI CHILD PORN" written across Musk's shirtless belly, and under his sagging cleavage, Reuters photos show. His back had the same protest scrawled across the inflatable effigy's back, along with the name "Elon" on the back of its baseball cap.

The messages referred to the AI chatbot, Grok, available through X. It also came as a highly anticipated IPO on SpaceX, which is expected to make Musk the first trillionaire, Wired noted....

‘Insane’: Nobel-winning economist torches Musk’s failed bid to MAGA-fy AI

Nobel-Prize-winning columnist Paul Krugman claimed in a new Substack article that Elon Musk's Grok chatbot started calling itself "MechaHitler" and spewing antisemitic tropes because it was pushed too far to the right by its creator in an overcorrection gone horribly wrong.

Musk has been working to undo the damage ever since, and the fallout even led to the ouster of X CEO Linda Yaccarino this week.

In the article, Krugman explained that AI naturally skews its answers more to the left of the political spectrum because the "reality" it has gleaned doesn't "adhere to the right-wing party line."...

'Eww': Elon Musk sparks backlash after debuting 'NSFW' chatbot 'companion'

Anyone who's wondered what Elon Musk has been up to since leaving Donald Trump's employ at the White House got a treat Monday with the reveal of Grok's new "Companion" feature.

"Cool feature just dropped for @SuperGrok subscribers. Turn on Companions in settings," Musk posted.

The Tesla entrepreneur walked users through setting up their own fully programmable anime-style virtual doll complete with fishnet stockings and blonde pigtails. Users can talk to the interactive, animated AI avatars via voice or text. The companions are "fully 3D animated characters aimed at making conversations more engaging, personal, and entertaining."...

'That is a flat out lie!' Outrage as Elon Musk's AI chatbot contradicts him

Elon Musk's AI chatbot known as Grok, which was recently in the news for purported praising of Hitler, caused outrage on X after it contradicted its own creator.

The interaction started when MAGA influencer Matt Wallace spread a "rumor."

"Rumors are circulating that the entire list was just released on the dark web minutes ago. Have my team searching for it now," he wrote Saturday of the so-called Epstein list. It's a notable comment considering Musk, the owner of X, previously asserted that Trump is himself on the list of purported child rapists....

Elon Musk derided as he posts drug test results that 'nobody asked for'

Elon Musk posted the results of a drug screen on his X account Tuesday, purportedly in response to speculation that he abused drugs during his time in the White House.

President Donald Trump called Musk 'a big-time drug addict' in the aftermath of their very public break-up, The Washington Post reported. The New York Times also reported that Musk was "using drugs far more intensely than previously known, according to people familiar with his activities."

The screenshot Musk posted of a "Laboratory Final Report" conducted by "United States Drug Testing" on samples the post states were collected June 11 showed "negative" results for a variety of drugs, including cocaine, ketamine, opiates, and cannabinoids....

Musk-Trump feud likely deliberate with specific goal in mind:  Wall St analysts

Financial analysts with Wall Street firm Morgan Stanley believe that Elon Musk's very public feud with President Donald Trump was calculated to gain "maximum" attention for his opposition to the "big, beautiful bill," according to Investing.com.

Market reporter Sam Boughedda wrote Tuesday, "Morgan Stanley analysts believe that Elon Musk’s recent public communication 'campaign'...is 'likely part of a planned strategy by Elon to achieve a specific goal with his approach designed to bring maximum public attention to the issue.'"

Before the friendship completely imploded last week, Musk wrote on his social media platform, "This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination."...
