Explosive reports about Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) having affairs with three staffers are sparking widespread outcry about her hypocrisy.

A flurry of criticism came after an ethics complaint alleged that Boebert carried on a sexual relationship with her district director, Clarice Navarro Ratzlaff, and two other staffers.

On Saturday, Boebert denied the allegations in comments for a report by Sources Say, which added that the author of the complaint, David Wheeler of American Muckrakers, alleged that Boebert's current district chief of staff, Raven Finegan, and former chief of staff Jeffrey Small were also engaged in sexual relationships with the MAGA congresswoman....

Update: Lauren Boebert's office said Sunday that there is "zero truth" in the allegations, and added that, under House rules, the complaint should not be investigated. "Under House Committee on Ethics Rule 15, a complaint may not be filed within 60 days of an election in which the Member is a candidate. This filing was submitted inside that window. The Committee is required to return it," her office stated.

An explosive sworn complaint filed with the House Ethics Committee alleges Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) carried on a sexual relationship with her district director in the office, in a car and in campaign-paid hotel rooms — and that roughly $200,000 changed hands when the staffer threatened to go to the committee.

The complaint says that after Clarice Navarro Ratzlaff left the office and told Boebert she intended to file an ethics complaint, a payment of about $200,000 followed in March 2025. Its author says he does not know where the money came from, and the passage describing how he verified the payment is redacted in the published version....

A woman has told the House Committee on Ethics that Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-CA) sexually assaulted her, her attorneys told CNN Wednesday.

Gomez has been accused of inappropriate sexual conduct with a House staffer, which he has denied. He has acknowledged that he made "personal mistakes outside my marriage," CNN reported. Gomez has said his actions were consensual and he did not violate House ethics rules.

Attorneys for one of the women accusing Gomez of sexual harassment and assault said his actions "were not 'consensual in nature' with respect to our client."...

Embattled Rep. Max Miller (R-OH) triggered alarms as documents he shared amid an investigation were found to be manipulated.

According to reporting by Politico, Miller shared documents related to his bitter fight against assault allegations that seemed to come from his congressional office, which would violate House rules amid an investigation by the Ethics Committee. His attorneys then changed the authorship of the documents to read Minc Law LLC, Politico reported.

Four documents that Miller posted in a Dropbox folder showed that the authorship was "Office of Rep. Max Miller – Legal Counsel," which suggested that congressional resources were used to create them, Politico's Daniel Lippman reported....

Yet another member of Congress was under investigation by the House Ethics Committee amid allegations of inappropriate advances on a staffer, CNN reported on Tuesday.

Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-CA) was at the center of the investigation, an issue that has become a priority on Capitol Hill and among lawmakers.

According to three anonymous sources, "the panel had made early reach outs in its attempt to follow up on a New York Post story, which alleged Gomez (D-CA) had been spotted kissing an aide, who worked for a different member of Congress, outside a backyard party in 2023," according to the report. ...

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) revealed on Friday that the House Ethics Committee has a backlog of misconduct allegations under investigation, according to Axios.

The wave of misconduct claims has put additional pressure on lawmakers to make sure they can hold members accountable, but several leaders are arguing they need additional resources to keep up with the growing backlog.

"He has had a great challenge, the chairman of Ethics Committee, that committee is very busy right now," Johnson, speaking of Chair Michael Guest (R-MS), told Axios....
